Need more of a variety of live classes and options for rower. There are a ton with bikes, also I was under the impression when I purchased it came with monitor. I was wrong. Purchased a bike less than a week later and that actually came with the 21.5 monitor but it was defective so I've had the bike and still no replacement. Pretty frustrating.

well built, but surprised that the app does not have basic panel of info for serious rowing like all others, only online sessions and leisure river events. need to have a basic panel where serious rowers can program exercises with distance and cadence etc. very dissapointed

The first time I was on a rower was when I signed up for OrangeTheory. However, I never felt like I actually knew what I was doing and was getting pains even after I had asked for the coach's help. The Echelon rower has allowed me to quit OrangeTheory, save time and money, all while giving my better form on the rower. I love how many different classes there are for every level rower. I now look forward to using my rower and getting a better exercise.

Jury is still out for me. I really like the rower, but all of the videos show it with some kind of screen, and it definitely does not come with a screen. Part of me wished I would have gotten the bike instead, but returning is such a pain so I am going to make this work. The exercise itself is amazing, just a little disappointed about it not coming with a screen.

I love to row, having come from Concept2 there are a lot of differences. The meters per second, total distance and calories don't match with similar effort between the two. However it's still a solid work out and space saver, giving it a slight edge but for Non Echelon Training programs it lacks.

A decent machine that was still not correct when I receive it. The first one was defective, so they sent me a replacement. The second one was flawed as well but I was able to make repairs myself. So far so good. Good looking unit and works well so far. Will see how it goes over the long Haul. Initial quality control needs improvement. Repackaging the old one and sending it back was very tough. Be careful unboxing your new unit so you can send it back if necessary. Have a friend help and pay attention to the packing layout.

In the Fall of 2019, I felt as bad as I ever have about my physical well-being. As a former Div 1 track and cross-country runner, I knew what fitness felt like, and I was about as far away from it as one could be. So, after hearing a radio commercial, I looked into Echelon, compared it to other brands (it was a great deal with awesome content), and chose to purchase a Connect bike and membership in an effort to start working out and remove excuses (couldn't skip the gym if it was literally in my office!). I had expected a bike and some classes, what i got was so much more. The classes were great and the equipment top notch, but the engagement and encouragement from the instructors and community are just above and beyond all expectations. These instructors engage and communicate with us at a personal and intimate level. The community is supportive, and you immediately realize that they become your accountability partners as well as your friends! I connected with a group of about a dozen individuals that have become some of the most important people in my life. I've traveled to see them, we speak daily, and it's all because of Echelon. As time moved on, I added additional equipment (content for that is included the SAME membership!!) and am enjoying that as well. If I could give more stars I would, because this equipment, content, and community has moved my life to a great place and I couldn't be more thankful!

I like the rowing machine in general, however there seems to be a few weak points. The foot rest adjustments seem extremely cheap and 'plasticky' compared to the rest of the machine. Also the resistance buttons work very sporadically. Sometimes they are instant responsive, other times take repeated presses.

The rower itself broke after 1 year and had to be completely replaced. It took about 4 months of constantly having to contact Echelon to get a new one. When the rower is working, the only issue is that it only seems to use the usb power to the iPad when it is in use, so my iPad battery drains when I'm not using it. The workout instructors and classes themselves are excellent, but I wish I could count on the same instructor to regularly lead a session at the same time every week.

I really like the rowing machine. I bought it because my gym was closed and I needed to be able to work out. I had been a long time lifecycle rider but wanted something that would work more of my body. The rower, because it uses something like 80-85% of the muscles seemed like a great choice. The workout is hard, much harder than what I was doing before so I think the benefits for me are greater. I probably will not resume going to the gym after this shelter in place thing is over. I supplemented the rower with a TRX setup and I think that will meet my needs going forward. As an additional endorsement, I plan to by another rower for our summer place. I really like the convenience and the completeness of the workouts. My wife initially thought I was crazy (she was an elliptical user) but she started using the rower and is now a convert. As to improvements, I think the app could use some tweaks and has been improved over the past couple of weeks. It works fine, but always up for more improvements.
