The machine itself is very nice and works well. The software on it tends to gang up and not want to start up. Some days it’s fine some days it takes me an hour to get it to connect. Have no idea why it does this. Overall am pleased with it but a little frustrated.

Being unfamiliar with rowing, I was super impressed with the variety of classes available. The instructors are excellent. I love the leaderboard and how it pushes me to do better. I love how there are bootcamp classes that already incorporate weight training, and the diversity of fitpass. I also love that that there are separate warmup and cooldown programs. Somedays I am short on time while others I'm all for an extra ten minute cooldown. I also love that I can cooldown with yoga, stretching or continued rowing. Although I really do love my rower, there are a few criticisms as well. As with any piece of technology, there are times the connection stops. Often this is when I start, and it fixes simply by restarting. This wastes a few minutes and is only a small annoyance. However, when you are racing during a workout and the connection is lost, it is much more annoying when your stats are lost and you have to start over. This has only happened twice, but I have to reset the rower when I start a workout several times a week. You can't use the rower if the connection isn't registering- it is a bigger problem than it not showing your stats, it does not work at all. My other annoyance is that there is no manual mode or ability to continue the workout once the video completes. Although I worked hard and burned 295 calories, there are times I really want to go another minute to reach that 300 calorie goal. I also found the music to be a bit disappointing. I was hoping the use of popular songs would really pump me up, but it is barely noticeable. Luckily, the instructions are very efficient at getting me excited! Overall, I do really love this machine and that it offers a wide variety of workouts. I have found rowing to be my favorite form of cardiovascular exercise! I am not disappointed I chose to invest in this machine!

I love that this rower doesn't take up a ton of space in my apartment. It's also really easy to put together and use. The Bluetooth resistance controller is a nice touch, and the seat is super comfortable. I've been using the Echelon Row-S for a few weeks now, and I'm really happy with it.

This Echelon Row-S is more than just a rowing machine! The swiveling touchscreen lets me use it for off-rower workouts too. I love throwing on a yoga or strength training class and using the machine for support or added challenge. It's a great way to mix things up and keep my workouts interesting.

Love my Echelon Rower-S! It took a little bit for me to get used only because I'm awkward, but I've really enjoyed classes! And the learning/instructional classes have been a huge help. Thank you Echelon once again for a piece of great equipment that didn't break my bank account!

I think the Row-S is amazing but I think it would be a lot more enjoyable if you had interactive classes where the instructor is rowing on a scenic route with you. I know other brands have that. Additionally the scenic programs you have are somewhat boring and there are so few to choose from.

I purchased the rower after having the Echelon bike for a year. I wanted to get more of an upper body workout. I am really impressed with the easy of the rowers use. I always thought I was in fairly good shape and after the first week of use, I was really feeling it in my back and abdomen. I would and have highly recommended the Echelon rower to anyone looking to get a full body workout.

I purchased my first rower in November. It has been a nice way to rest my body from weight training and from the spin bike. I love the variety of the available classes and many different instructors. There is something for everyone. A seasoned rower or a novice like myself. I can't wait to see what echelon has in the pipeline for this format.

I absolutely love my Echelon Row-S. The versatility of the rower with the added trainer support makes it the ultimate rower. The access to all the training programs makes the Row-S the best bargain for the money spent. When you add a simple yoga mat and some dumbells you are able to complete the best total body workout available in an hour or less.

Honestly was uncertain about getting the row but after getting it and using it a few times I'm glad I made the choice. It's a great workout and the Row S is fantastic. It's well made and solid for my 230 lbs. We were so happy with it that we just ordered 2 treadmills to add to our home gym in addition to the 2 Echelon bikes that we have. We are an all in Echelon family and couldn't be happier with the quality of the equipment. The instructors and class options are excellent. I highly recommend adding the Row to your workout routines, you won't be disappointed!
