I had a major issue with the first rower I had. They quickly sent me a new one but now the second one is starting to develop a clunking sound while using. Overall the tower is decent, I like the adjustability. But from a engineering standpoint there is much to be improved. It's also fairly expensive for the product you actually get.

This Echelon Row-S is more than just a rowing machine! The swiveling touchscreen lets me use it for off-rower workouts too. I love throwing on a yoga or strength training class and using the machine for support or added challenge. It's a great way to mix things up and keep my workouts interesting.

As part of my home gym buildout I bought the Echelon 5S bike right before Covid and have never looked back. I did spend a fair amount of time determining which bike to buy, and part of the decision was other related pieces of equipment available under a single subscription. While I used to row as part of my former OTF workout, I was leery of 20+ minute rowing workouts. Well, I must say the rower is now an integral part of my routine. There are great instructors, an array of on-demand classes and some boot camps that incorporate off rower exercise. I highly recommend this if you are serious about your home workouts. As an added bonus, many of the same instructors from the bike are here as well!

The machine itself is very nice and works well. The software on it tends to gang up and not want to start up. Some days it’s fine some days it takes me an hour to get it to connect. Have no idea why it does this. Overall am pleased with it but a little frustrated.

I really enjoy the rower! It works very similar to those I have used in CrossFit and I love how quiet this one is. Only 4 stars because I wish the display arm had more adjustments and also I would like to see some tweaks to the classes in the app. I wish the instructors explained more what speed, resistance, rate, etc we should be at. I realize we are all different but it would be great to have a better understanding how hard we should be going or should be striving for, etc.

I can't believe that I waited so long to add the rower to my home gym! It is the perfect compliment to my bike and FitPass workouts, and I've noticed a difference in my other workouts because of the strength I'm building with the rower. If you've been on the fence on whether or not to get the rower, please do yourself a favor and bite the bullet.

Row works well, smooth operation and comfortable seat. Bluetooth connection is effective. Heart rate monitor option connects properly (most of the time). All-in-all a solid machine. My only gripes (and thus 4 stars instead of 5): The screen is a little heavy for the arm, so will drift down over time until at the lowest spot. Not a big deal, as it can be locked into a couple positions, but the design isn't perfect. Additionally, the recorded "outdoors" rows are reversed (in other words, you get closer to the horizon, instead of further away which is what happens when you row). They're also not 20-30 consecutive minutes, but often are spliced segments. I know, not a big deal, but could easily be resolved, and is more indicative of an "almost really good" product.

I love my Echelon Rower! I have gone through numerous live classes, on demand classes, and scenic rides with my own workouts. All the instructors have been motivating! I have always been active, mostly running and playing sports, but I tore my ACL a year ago. The rower provides a great, low impact workout!

Love my Echelon Row-S. I purchased an open-box rower. There was nothing that I could see wrong with it. Works perfectly. I LOVE the large interactive screen and rowing with the trainers. The screen is large for me to see, as opposed to using my I-Pad. The interaction with the trainers makes the rowing time go faster. Having the trainers allows me to focus on my form and to challenge myself. Extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Good classes and instructors. Enjoy the variety. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that the machine can be a little glitchy. We've had to back out of a class a few times and restart because the resistance wasn't working or it will freeze for 10-15 seconds or so in the middle of a class. It's occasional enough it's not a big issue, but it keeps me from giving a fabulous review.
