I am so impressed by this machine and the classes which are offered with it. I did several of the intro classes, and have now moved on to more advanced classes. The instructors are fantastic, and the variety of classes I can take for rowing is amazing!

I have been going to rowing classes for 2 years - Finally decided to get my own rower and let me tell you, the difference is incredible...I feel like I get a far better workout on the Echelon Rower in 15-20 minutes than I ever did in my 45 minute classes 2-3x a week...I wish I had purchased it sooner...

I am somewhat disappointed with the row. My initial Echelon product was a bike and based on my experience with it, decided to buy the Row-S. Easy to assemble. Great looking machine. When it works it is great. Huge connectivity/software issues. More often than not it does not connect to the tablet. Also the resistance controller connection is unstable. Have to spend exercise time troubleshooting every day. At times I have to shut down the bike in order for it to work. (No issues with the bike at all.) Support has not met my expectations. I hope the Echelon team puts in the time to fix these issues. This product has great potential!

I love the Echelon Rower. Being able to change resistance from the handle along with the smooth magnetic system has made all the difference. I tested rowers that use water as resistance, wooden ones, much more expensive magnetic aluminum rowers but none of them felt as good as the Echelon rower. The foot rests are just at the right angle and adjust easily which helps with the knee alignment. I am very happy with it and have told family and friends to buy one.

The rower is awesome! It's stable, which can be an issue with rowers, and I has an easy setup and take down. The only thing I wish it would have is a rower workout program to follow. 1-5 days a week planned out so I don't have to search each morning for the right workout.

The product is sturdy, and I was able to put it together myself. The weight was a problem because I live on the second floor. If I did not lug it up the steps my only other option would have been to leave it out in the rain. It wasn't hard to put together. Overall the product is good. My main problems have been with connection issues (switching between using the bike and row with the app and it connecting to the one after the other. What is worse is the resistance buttons dont always work! I can push and push and push and it doenst move. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It probably 50/50 on working and not. It is very frustrating when you are in the middle of a work out and are stuck on one resistance!! It is, in my opinion the biggest flaw, second would be the connection issue.

I've used this rower, concept 2 ergs, and the water rower used at Orange Theory. Being able to adjust the resistance is really nice. The pull is smooth and even throughout. The seat is also really large and comfortable. There aren't too many workout options yet, but the available classes have been pretty good. I wish the music was louder though like it is for the cycling classes.

We have really loved our new rower! It is definitely a different work out than our Echelon bike. The bike feels like a more fast paced, cardio workout whereas the rower feels more like a full body strength training. We did have some issues with connectivity at first (especially trying to synchronize our watches with the rowing monitor), but that issue seems to be resolved. We didn't partake in the beginner rowing classes as much because we felt the information was really repetitive and that there was more explanation/talking than working out. Our recommendation would be to reconsider how those beginner classes are structured. We would also really love to share our workouts in a more user friendly, social media way! (Such as as Instagram!) Overall, we've been really happy with our Echelon experience and a lot of our friends have joined the Echelon family with us! Both the rower and bike are great for busy families who don't necessarily have time to go to a traditional gym! We'd really love to have the Reflect to step up our workouts to the next level!

I love the convenience of having a total body workout at home with the rower. It's quiet and simple to use. The downside is that the rower doesn't always connect properly to the app - it will show my stroke rate but not my resistance, or the resistance won't change despite my trying to increase it - then I have to stop rowing, shut the rower and turn it back on again to reconnect. It's frustrating when I'm in a class!

Love the actual machine. But every time I turn it on and open the app to connect to it, I get an error, and requires rebooting of my rower or the app to fix. Usually one reboot is enough to fix this, but you'd hope for a more seamless experience given how important the tablet/phone is to the rowing experience on this machine.
