I had several issues with TurboTax. I had to file multiple states and the cost was ridiculous for additional states. Secondly, one of my States was incorrect. So, not only did I pay this extortion, I ended up using the State efile site so I could correct the tax forms. Will never us again!!!!

I didn't care for the format changes made this year, as I was used to the previous format and the new step-through entry process kept making me feel that I missing things. Found myself going back to recheck entries. Also import from my e*Trade account never worked as I have a 2-step verification and it kept telling me that info returned from the institution said that I was entering incorrect login/password info. I was able to log in via my cell, so I knew that my entries were accurate.

Some helpful features but lazy software in some ways. Should make live advice free when software has no explanation or steps. CA state capital loss carryover question for example. Divide between desktop and online products is mysterious and frustrating EVERY SINGLE YEAR. I should be able to use both for one price. Can never remember which one to use. Tedious, especially state return which you barely help with yet charge extra to file?

The desktop version has issues with fitting font sizes in various places. The most obvious is the 'File Edit View Tools Online Help" area at the top left. I started to look at the cloud version of Turbo Tax but did not feel comfortable using it and did not like the look and feel compared to desktop version.

TurboTax and their reps and employees hold accuracy, compatibility, their features, the user interface and providing support to their customers at a very high standard. Thank you TurboTax for all that you did for my family and I. We appreciate all of your arduous work to provide a seamless interface for your customers. Thanks for the President and the Congress for the Big Beautiful Bill.

The software has fallen down t just average now in a competitive market. there are bugs in the help and text guides in several places. These are annoying things like referring to a search tool that isn't there or referencing medical insurance premiums paid in the state form when there is no way to enter the premiums paid anywhere and the online help has no information. there are things that shouldn't exist in an application as old as turbotax. The linkage of the forms to the step by step guides continues to be poor (especiallly when the when your checks identify a problem )

Great tool for filing taxes, but the app crashes or gets stuck in a transmission state when errors occur. I had to search online to figure out the problem. Additionally, my tax returns should be accessible on the website. I can't find my returns from the desktop version when I log in with the same credentials.

I have been using Turbo Tax for ages, since long before it was an Intuit product. This year was my absolute worst experience and I doubt I will use it again next year. The Deluxe product is now pretty bare, so I had to get the Premier. Then it never asked for my IRS IP PIN, so my return was rejected and I had to to figure out where to enter it on the software because it doesn't show up in the usual questions. I know it used to be. Also I had questions about the program itself, nothing to do with taxes, but was directed to JustAnswer and a CPA, so more $$$. Seriously, I don't know what's happened to Turbo Tax, but it can't be any worse.

I've used Turbo Tax for years. I find it to be very easy to understand and to use. This was my first year using the version for Mac and I was pleased to find there were no difference from the Windows version, at least none that I came across in my simple return.

The only real problem for me was trying to get back to my original IRA distributions and withholding tax information. I was off on something but I don't think I was ever able to back track to verify the numbers. I was never completely positive the final Turbo Tax tax calculation was accurate.
