Systematically the layout is very annoying. If I have forgot to add say an item to my Schedule C. Painful process to get back thru the interview every question has to be answered again...my initial answers are not saved. I wish I could arrow thru quickly like a web page set up. I'm sure I could just do the change in the form like an override, sometimes the program won't let me do it this way.

I mistakenly entered the exact same 1099 form from my financial company twice and Turbotax Premier added it in both times,costing me an additionalm $528 on my Fed. tax and additional $179 0n my state tax. I already filed both Fed and State and already received refund from state which did not catch error. I am very disappinted and shocked that Turbotax did not flag this duplicate form 1099. Now I have to file an amended return on both Fed and State. I'm not paying for more support from Turbotax to fix a problem it should have caught before I filed.

I was disappointed in filling out one of the Forms that had a zero amount. The program would not accept that so I finally had to enter a penny for it to take. I received the form from the government for healthcare so it was accurate data. If premium tax credits are halted during the year, that field will be zero since money is not credited.

I've used Turbo Tax for over 35 years. My returns are fairly simple, but over the years I have talked to your people. They are extremely helpful. I did not need to this year. You've got an outstanding product that is simple to use, very efficient, and very user friendly. Please do not over tweak it. I've seen companies that are trying to make their product better, but sometimes it has the opposite effect. Lord willing, I'll be using it again next year.

I didn't like the layout this year for investments where you enter the interest, dividends, and 1099B information separately, when they come together from the Bank. Also, you had to select one, go in and back out in order to get the prompt to add in order to download. I also suggest a function that would allow you to say no digital assets for all the following...., as I had to manually enter the information one by one on pages and pages of entries.

Ran into a startup issue where the app started but then blanked out and had to restart. Also the startup does not always take you to the main screen which is inconvenient because you have to try to find a suitable starting place. I ended up going through Windows file manager and locating my saved tax return, double-clicking it to start TurboTax, then proceeding from there.

In general my experiences with turbo tax has been excellent. I although would like to note a couple of areas which need to be looked at. 1. I normally import my financial information into my taxes. I although found that when I reviewed some of the items in my form, I was directed to re-import. This was confusing as I had already imported my data assumed that the prior import was accurate. It brings a level of mistrust in the data. 2. I am a Washington State resident. I made money in Idaho. I know that I was not going to have to pay taxes in Washington. I therefore added Idaho to my tax form. Upon the filing of my taxes, I was charged to file my taxes for Idaho. Since I was not required to file a return for Washington State, I should not have been charged for filing my Idaho taxes. This needs attention.

I was disappointed this year. I've used Turbo Tax for years and never had a problem This year, importing from my brokerage account was difficult. I paid for a Turbo Tax consultation and Alicia answered all my questions and helped resolve my issues. At one point, the Turbo Tax screen froze up (on a new laptop) and I had to do a hard shut down and restart. At the end, it kept pointing out "errors" which I fixed, but it continued pointing out the "errors." It was frustrating!

Some time ago I must have mistakenly created a second account and have never been able to eliminate it, although I tried. That glitch aside, I've found each succeeding year of your product to be better, and more comprehensive then the last. Some features that have been added have been particularly helpful as I and my wife have gotten further in our retirement and rely on our retirement instruments and investments. That being said, this current version might very well be my last. Even with the tools and logic built into the program, my cognitive skills make it difficult to find my way through the forms as easily as I once did,

Oh, I guess I was to overwrite this box's content. Samples: you told me I am a farmer, wanted information about assets in my credit union cash accounts, sent me down multiple rabbit holes, told me I have to send paper copies as well as the e-file copy. Really wonky this year and I have used TurboTax for at least 14 years. I was so concerned that I hand checked everything.
