As usual, TT works well and I will continue to use it yearly. There are 2 things I'd like to see improved. 1. It's frustrating to wait for updates uploads for several minutes only to be old there are no new updates. 2. Was mislead when I manually entered Form 1099-DA from Coinbase. I was unable to import this. In the step by step TT suggested it is easier to just enter the total of all transactions. after I did this, Iwas told I need to mail the form to the IRS and time it so it arrives with my E-file. I then went back and entered each transaction and the mail in requirement went away. Iknow Crypto forms are new and hopefully you can fine tune this. Overall I am quite satisfied! Thanks

Overall, happy with product which I have used for years. Had two issues: 1) when I tried choosing what to enter instead of letting TurboTax walk me through, it got confused and would not let me continue. I had to have it walk me through. 2) Upset that there was no alternative for ItsDeductible. I used the Salvation Army web site estimates.

I have used Turbotax for 10+ years, I'm done with them. Still seeing same error issues that I called Turbotax help desk for last year. YouTube was more helpful for me who runs a STR, I had use forms to get to use features that should have been available to.

What have you done to this software? I opened a test return for reference and had to go thru it before I could get out of it. How doI exit turbotax anywhere in the process? Why cant i delete the file when I know it's the wrong one?' I hope I can use this software this year. It gets harder each year. At least it transfers data. Thats a good feature.

Had our taxes done by a tax professional for decades. When we started getting less back, less schedules needed but not purged from the previous years and the price going up, spending hundreds of dollars, my friend encouraged me to use Turbo Tax. I have no tax prep or financial background. However, I was amazed at the ease of use! It guides you through everything, then checks and double checks your filing for errors. If you have questions, they even offer support options. I would absolutely recommend Turbo Tax.

Th is no guidance or clean way to handle interest paid by a foreign bank that does not have EIN. I spent two hours on this issue and finally AI figured out how to report it in a way EIN was not required. I had to go through several trials to delete the 1099 MISC form I had created and enter it in W2 section of the other reportable income.

THis is the absolute worst version of Turbo Tax that I've ever used, and I will likely never use it again. It was extremely buggy and unintuitive, filing complicated multi-state taxes was NOT easy (something I pay the cost of this software for) and the online help is essentially useless. It does do the math well, assuming that you have all the data, but the financial import section was confusing, as you get imports that you have to address that may be new imports, or carryover data from a previous version. It's not clear which ones they are as there are no dates on the imported data. My advice for 2025 is to shop around and see what other software is out there.

I have ben using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and I have always been very satisfied with the product and I would rate it very good to superior. However, this year I cannot do this because one of the features that I have come to rely on was gone and I had no idea that it was eliminated. The 'Its Deductible' feature was always a plus to make sure I could get all of my charitable contributions in order in a mass input. Unfortunately, it was not on the 2025 Turbo Tax. As a result I can only rate this tax product as average. I may need to look at other tax document prep software to see if they have easier programs to keep my contributions in order. I would strongly suggest putting this feature back in. I know many like me rely on this to get things in order quickly for the maximum tax refund.

Turbo tax used to have "it's deductible" which made summarizing no cash contributions straightforward. Now you have to click multiple times for every item. Turbo tax also used to provide an estimated tax for the next year from your previous year's taxes. Now you have to manually enter the information you already entered for your taxes in the w-4 form calculator. Turbo tax used to have understandable help and descriptions for items you are working on. Now they generally copy the incomprehensible IRS documentation and make you pay extra for live expert advice.

There were errors on the import of 1099 from our broker which we did not notice until we reviewed the 1040 by hand. Result ed in a ($200,00) capital loss which would have not been carried forward had we not noticed it. Expensive goof with no noticeable error
