The changes in TTax 2025 were awful and not user friendly. The inability to use WIN 10 to run the TTax program was also indicative that Intuit does not care much about the user. The repetitive attempts to sell add on services - like Audit Protection, is obnoxious.

I switched to MAC this year from Windows. The problem I had was updating the program before transmission e-file was accepted There is no update on the menu so I downloaded a new Turbo tax program, transferred my return to it and then was able to file. Also there was no forms menu as in prior programs on Windows.

Overall, happy with product which I have used for years. Had two issues: 1) when I tried choosing what to enter instead of letting TurboTax walk me through, it got confused and would not let me continue. I had to have it walk me through. 2) Upset that there was no alternative for ItsDeductible. I used the Salvation Army web site estimates.

Very frustrating experience. Did not capture all my state W2 information (two states). Just captured the first one resulting in incorrect tax filing. Now I have to file an amendment and even that process if frustrating. Been using Turbo tax for years but at this point, going to change.

Straight forward ability to input taxes for current tax year filing. Suggestion: please add a feature whereby I can use this year's tax filing as a basis upon which i can model next years' taxes. I understand tax law can change and that my true tax tax obligation my be different. The IRS withholding tool is too coarse to give me the confidence I need forward projecting next years' obligation. 2025 TurboTax Premier Mac version crashed so many times! I can't believe this. What going on? Didn't you test your product before rolling out? How can I trust you my tax is done correctly? Not only crashing issue, when I saved my tax return as PDF and set a password to open the PDF. The PDF opens directly without asking for password! This is so bad.

It is more important than ever to check every line of your forms and understand what and if bad calculations were added. Intuit won't be paying your interest and penalties when they screw up. And they seem to do that more and more in unexplainable ways. If I didn't have years of taxes done in this format, I don't know if I would keep using it. At some point it probably makes more sense to just outsource this.

I have been trying for 2 days to correct an entry on a 1099-R form with no success. I have found no way to ask a question on how to do this. Today, I had to file for an extension of Federal and State returns. The Federal extension went smoothly, and I was directed to go to my State return to file for an extension. When I click on the State return, it simply tries to run through my entries again. I NEED HELP!! I have less than an hour and a half. Thanks

I've used TurboTax for many years and this was by far the worse experience. Popups and "ads" from the online version were so annoying I switched to my desktop version. Forms that weren't ready were delayed from "by February" until they actually were ready February 20. Fields for 1099-R weren't automatically filled in, resulting in "problems" that were difficult to trace down. in general, it was frustrating.

Turbo tax did not work correctly when I first entered my 1099R. Customer service did not help me. I had to try editing and resubmitting the information multiple times. Also, I thought that the software included e filing the return and was disappointed to see a $40 fee. I was just so frustrated by then that I went ahead and paid it and filed the returns.
