After completing it would not let me e-file. I got a message "You've reached your e-file limit. the IRS only allows 5 returns to be e-filled with personal tax software. Everywhere I turned TURBO TAX was only wanting more and more money to be spent with them. So, the Features that were advertised were not available.

This year was the most miserable year using your product. Program was buggy and needed updates. Could not get it to load a saved return in progress when I returned to it the next day. Finally need to be completely reinstalled to submit my return when completed. I have used the Windows desktop versions for several years, this is the first time with Mac and there may not be a next time for me. Help was AI and very ignorant. I am so glad I am not doing this on April 14.

We use this every year, but it always seems to be a bit of a challenge to get the program loaded and there are some topics that are not addressed for my return. I still do recommend using Turbo Tax versus attempting on your own!! Definitely provides a lot of useful information. Very helpful to submit an accurate tax return!

Always frustrated with TT due to the constant attempts to nickel and dime us (live tax support ads showing us constantly - OK with once and the upper box but that's it; state tax extra fees for filing; extra fee for audit defense when you already say you provide a certain amount with your product purchase); buggy program and glitches; making us have to use WIN 11 forcing an upgrade that was a significant cost impact both in time and money;

Ease of use is great. When I closed the program Friday night, I was due a $2,593 refund but when I opened the program today, I now owe $7,285. I e-filed and hopefully the credit was transmitted instead of the $7,285 I owe. I do not know why the difference.

Turbo Tax 2025 does not work very well. It miss pulling a 1099 from my Fidelity Account and i had to manually add it to Turbo Tax. Also, when I looked at my dividends, it triplicated on the first download from Fidelity. Second download it doubled the dividends. I had to manually delete the duplicates. The system itself, each time I went to open it up wanted to update the system, and it never worked. I had to use AI to do a work around. When I was updating the HSA section, the data base locked up several times and had to Control Alt Delete and manually shut down TT and then reopen. Wow I think next year, I will use another software tax system.

Used Turbo Tax for many years. Enjoy the ease of downloading complicated investment forms and the ability to review documents in the forms tab. Would recommend that e-filing of State forms be included in the original purchase price, even if the price is higher than current

I have used Turbotax for quite a few years, but I did not want to e-file my state return. In the past there was no problem printing the paper copies necessary. This year, after choosing to e-file my Federal return, and successfully doing so, the software didn't give any options other than e-filing my state return. In order to print the paper copies for filing by mail, I had to go back and change the e-file option for my Federal return. I hope that works without messing up my Federal e-file. Other than that everything else worked pretty well.

I have always liked Turbo Tax but this year they got sneaky and I was considering switching. I have windows 10 and like to do my taxes with the desktop version and not online. I also don't want to upgrade just yet. This years desktop version only works with Windows 11 which is a huge inconvenience. Why??

The program crashed and I lost all my data near the end of completing the return; had to re-enter everything a second time. Called technical support and, other than wasting another hour on the phone, nothing was accomplished except for increased frustration.
