Overall, it's decent, but some of your prompts are annoying especially the new investment UI - I usually have to delete some saved entries because your import process seems to assume everyone will import plus if you are going to do interest and dividends in the same place - have one button in the do it yourself screen instead of two.

I was unable to import anything. I kept coming to the screen about a popup. You didn't give any help on this to tell me what to do. Then when I was entering the information I got an error. You didn't give any help on this. I had to go to ChatGPT to find out the aborted import created blank files I needed to delete. You let us chose specific forms for printing but then print everything. This has happened for years. I keep notes on how to proceed on turbotax but then you change everything each year. And after leaving this page to check the spelling of a word when I came back everything was gone.

Disappointed with return/process due to the fact that Intuit tried to slip in $70 of additional fees which were not fully explained. Specifically, one was identified as "turbotax premium service" and "state efile fee". To correct this, I had to contact support. It appears that they were able to resolve the turbotax premium service, but I was advised that the only way to avoid the state efile fee was to print and submit the form via USPS.

Was very easy working with this year's product. Investment information upload is a great feature. I had one problem with entering RMD information. I had to divide the RMD amount between the IRA distribution to me and the QCD. There was no instruction on this.

Really seamless process from importing statements and helpful reminders to insure accuracy-Turbotax premier desktop is a great plan. My one caveat is the expense for additional states and e-filing expenses. I do my out of state children's taxes as well. I had to use a clumsy program called OLT so we could do theirs for free. If I had done additional states (2) it would be $60 each state and $25 each e-file for each state and $25 for each federal e file with my 2025 TT premier desktop. That's an additional $220 fee which I find way too much. The OLT tax program offered all that for free due to their income limits-but that program was NOT fun nor easy. To get the TT tax to work I would have to create an additional account with a different email and it was just too much effort.

Very disappointed with turbo tax this year. First forced me to use windows 11. Support fpor window 10 should still have been supported. Second, required me to mail form 8453 with attached 8949 as opposed to allowing upload of pdf with supporting documentation. Other tax software currently supports this this capability.

Though my wife and I have used Turbotax each year for over a decade, the software algorithm has regrettably deteriorated over the years to a point where I might as well have used the official federal and state forms directly on my own. The 2025 Intuit Turbotax Premier is riddled with help links that do not work and certain wizard-style questionnaires take you down an irrelevant path without clear instructions what is happening (1099-NEC and Schedule C as one example). I do not have the confidence that this software helped me prepare my taxes as accurately as it may have done 10 years ago.

I have been using Turbo Tax (TT) for years and haven't had any problems. This year basically was the same except because I had to invest in a new computer to use the 2025 TT software requiring Windows 11, my previous year (2024 TT) was on the old computer, so therefore the 2025 TT wasn't able to load critical information from the previous tax year. I tried following the instructions per TT to get that information but was unsuccessful. I finally gave up and just had to enter all my information like I'd never used TT before. I also of course had to get my 2024 copy for necessary information for the 2025 taxes. That information would have automatically been populated if I had been able to download the previous 2024 tax filing. It was frustrating, but I got it done and other than that I was very happy with TT as I have been before. One thing I did notice when I was entering my 1099-R and SS1099 is something it populated about the funds being from a Canadian entity. I don't know where it was getting that. The Tax Payer ID was correct and was not Canadian. Possibly a fluke in the system? I have been also very pleased with the questions and help pop ups that are available. I'm not sure what Interface is referring to, but it's probably also good!

TurboTax helped me file tax return for years. It's easy to use and have good support. But it does not have form 8997 for Opportunity zone fund. I need to send separately by mail. Next year Opportunity zone fund needs to pay capital gain, please add this into tax return, so I can still use TurboTax to file tax return. Thanks.

Unless you know turbo tax, it is difficult to navigate. Need to ask a question and the phone number is nowhere to be found. Needed to do a web search to find the number. (very poor). Got to talk to two agents. The first one said Turbo tax is correct and the 1099 is wrong and go to the supplier of the 1099 to have it fixed. Wrong! (poor) The second agent (Justin) found the issue and led me to the correct understanding. It was me not recognizing that a number entered was being reflected in the total. Justin gets a Gold Star..
