1. Turbo tax failed to calculate the taxable SS benefits correctly. The IRS wants $5000 more. 2. TT is getting more complicated to fill out every year. 3. TT is never complete and "Ready to go" at purchase time anymore. You get updates every time you log on and you cant trust the work you have done.

I filed my taxes in March and owed State and Federal taxes. I requested that my payments be withdrawn on April 15, 2026. Three months later I'm checking to see why the IRS has not processed my payment and found out that my taxes had not processed through Turbo Tax as of today 6/16/2026. I pray I won't owe any additional monies for late payment b/c I can't afford giving any more money to the IRS.

First: We were supposed to get a $10 credit to offset the state filing fee. We did not receive the credit and there was NO space on the Filing pages for us to remind that we should get it. Second: Information was "required" by your software that we have never had to share before, and we were not allowed to skip this info; e.g. we did NOT want our phone number on our federal tax return. Third: We had to re-enter identical information over and over. The account for our refund is the same as last year, yet we had to reenter it TWICE for federal and again for state taxes. Why?

I bought Turbo Tax online. Completed my taxes. When I got to the point of e-filing it said there was a hiccup. Unacceptable. Tried every number I could locate and that is a disaster as well. Very poor. I will never get tricked into using this software again. If I had wanted to mail in my return I would not have purchased software I would have let my brother do them.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I hope to continue using it if the price is not going to hiking up too much. The tax return filling is super time-consuming. This year I'm one month behind my schedule. Perhaps Turbo tax will have AI agents to help speed up the process for the users.

When it came time to file, your software required an update and then locked up my entire TurboTax software. Trying to find help was fruitless and I had to print my return to file by mail. NOT Happy considering I had other issues when trying to initially file and your system rejecting my return do to the AGI from 2024 that it requested.

It's so fustrating using 2025 Turbo Tax Desktop version. This whole day from 11am to now 6:!3, i am trying all differnet ways to file my 2025 tax return. It won't get past filing stage. I tried repeatedly updating the app; uninstalled the app; clearing cache etc. Everything you can think of. So I finally tried filing the federal return first. After IRS accepted my fed tax return, I prceeded with my CA tax return filing but now I cannot file. It said CA doesn't accept an efiled return. And then I continue the process anyway...I went thru the review process thru the step of printing/saving return...after that, it took me to the Rating tab. Why??

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. It is more difficult to go back and forth from forms to input than before. Also helpful IRS instructions or references used to be tabbed. This is the first time I had to file an amended return. I missed entering the QCD on my IRA 1099-R entry. I'm sure it was made more obvious on input forms in the past.

I have been using TurboTax since the beginning... I find the software very accurate and complete AND its gives you the option to be guided all the way through the cess or the ability to manually deal with forms (sometimes a great option to have). From year to year, the software brings your history along, which which is a great feature. The interface is easy to use and compatible with previous versions. And if you need support, they are always there. Highly recommend.

What a MESS the 2025 Tax Year Premier Desktop software has created. Main problems - Standard Deduction NOT applied, Says my name is Missing, Asking for 1099 (all dowloaded from financial institutions) data like name, address, SS#, has me in AMT when that has NEVER happened before............I've used TT for many years but this is definitely the LAST - It is wasting my time NOT saving it and the Cost is insane for bad software
