In theory Turbo Tax was going to generate a Form 1040-V after efiling. It never did, so I found a blank one and filled it out myself. I do always get frustrated with he way Turbo Tax does things. It is hard to jump back and fix minor things, you have to redo a topic from the start often.

1. Turbo tax failed to calculate the taxable SS benefits correctly. The IRS wants $5000 more. 2. TT is getting more complicated to fill out every year. 3. TT is never complete and "Ready to go" at purchase time anymore. You get updates every time you log on and you cant trust the work you have done.

I filed my taxes in March and owed State and Federal taxes. I requested that my payments be withdrawn on April 15, 2026. Three months later I'm checking to see why the IRS has not processed my payment and found out that my taxes had not processed through Turbo Tax as of today 6/16/2026. I pray I won't owe any additional monies for late payment b/c I can't afford giving any more money to the IRS.

When it came time to file, your software required an update and then locked up my entire TurboTax software. Trying to find help was fruitless and I had to print my return to file by mail. NOT Happy considering I had other issues when trying to initially file and your system rejecting my return do to the AGI from 2024 that it requested.

I have used your Turbo Tax programs for over 30 years but have become concerned with accuracy of my returns. The past three years I have experienced issues when trying to check out with my credit cards when electrically filing my state returns. This year was the worst yet. I tried filing electronically. The file was sent but was rejected 4 times by the IRS. Stating different issues which I fixed each time but only with the same results. I will not be using Turbo Tax next year. I would like to request a refund for this year's. program.

First: We were supposed to get a $10 credit to offset the state filing fee. We did not receive the credit and there was NO space on the Filing pages for us to remind that we should get it. Second: Information was "required" by your software that we have never had to share before, and we were not allowed to skip this info; e.g. we did NOT want our phone number on our federal tax return. Third: We had to re-enter identical information over and over. The account for our refund is the same as last year, yet we had to reenter it TWICE for federal and again for state taxes. Why?

I was looking for my mother-in-law's return and finally opened TurboTax to try to reconcile the lack of a return and discovered that nothing had been transmitted inspire of receiving notification that this return had been received. I always work on my tax return after doing my mother-in law's return because we are financially connected and share a residence. At no time did I or my family receive any notice of an irregularity on any form. We are all retirees from the Federal Government and thus do not pay any NY State taxes on our pensions. Why is this not covered within your software? I made two entries for $0.00 dollars and this return was completed and transmitted. This appears to be a serious oversight and I would like some sort of a response. My mother-in-law is due a federal income tax return of over $4700 and has been patiently waiting for some sort of a response.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I hope to continue using it if the price is not going to hiking up too much. The tax return filling is super time-consuming. This year I'm one month behind my schedule. Perhaps Turbo tax will have AI agents to help speed up the process for the users.

i kept getting an error that I could not file my return. I finally asked an expert for help. It turns out that I had some complicated problems with the reporting on my municipal bond portfolio from Bank of America. She worked for over an hour and helped me fill out the pages correctly. At the end, we filed my return and I was so happy with her.

I have been using Turbo Tax desktop for at least 15 years. I generally like it, except this year I don't like the startup screens that try to get me to use Turbo Tax Online, even though I have the Desktop version. I also don't like that it keeps forcing me to activate the Turbo Tax using my license code even though I am launching it the same computer that I already activated it on. I have now used 3 of 5 available activations but all on the same computer!!
