It is garbage that Turbo Tax charges extra to efile state returns. There reasoning for not doing so is simply a lie that no one believe, when they say not every state requires people to file tax returns, when in truth it is a ploy to extract more money from clients.

No way to handle multiple Homeless Contribution Tax Certificates for Colorado return. The screen for entering investment 1099's has large blocks for each possible source and duplicates some entries. The large spacing makes it difficult to recognize unnecessary duplicates. In some instances, TurboTax user interface is getting worse. In general, screens need to be concise and to the point without unnecessary decoration. When fields have supplementary details (which may have been carried over from the previous year), there should be an obvious indication that a popup form is available for the field.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and this year I found the changes you made to importing tax documents was extremely confusing and unlike the method used in all the previous years. Also when paying for add ons it is extremely difficult to enter the data because the screen is so big that I cannot see certain fields. I had to change credit cards just to be able to enter in the expiration date because it would not scroll down to month 12.

It works better every year, it took less time this year and the numbers were calculated quickly. I now use the feature that runs through everything and it worked perfectly. Wasn't sure at first how it would work because I switched from PC to Mac. Would not transfer PDF from last year, but took no time to reenter the information. Didn't need support this year as it was easy once I got it to download to the Mac. Program ran even better on the Mac than it did on PC, and all the features were great.

Having used TurboTax for many years, but only this year I have some issues with it. I have a special issue to input with Return of Excess Roth IRA into a brokerage account, rather than Recharacterization of the excess Roth IRA contribution。 Have to manually create substitute 1099-R while waiting for my official one next January。

Overall, I am really happy with how Turbo Tax helps me run through the process. I did have a few issues when the program reviewed any possible issues at the end. It took quite some time to figure out why there were issues and how to go back in to fix them. It would have been helpful if the program would have guided me back to the specific sections and showed how to proceed or why there were issues.

when importing, your system does not fill in last year's 1099. it creates a new 1099 for the same institution and i have to delete last years. i also have another problem with the import function, but i don't know how to describe it other than it's cumbersome to get back and identify each different type of 1099 and start over. i think the prior years import was not as inefficient as 2025.

I have used Turbotax for 10+ years, I'm done with them. Still seeing same error issues that I called Turbotax help desk for last year. YouTube was more helpful for me who runs a STR, I had use forms to get to use features that should have been available to.

TTax was great for the Federal Return, but became very difficult at the end of the state return. I had state tax due but was not required to pay a penalty. Nevertheless, TTax insisted that I fill out a form 2210AL worksheet even though the worksheet said I did not need to submit a 2210AL form. It kept asking me questions for which I did not have an answer. So, I just put $0 in all those questions to finally get out of the worksheet. This caused hours of additional work because I was trying to find answers to the questions it kept asking.

Many of the instruction use three letter acronyms that I don't understand. T-Tax made some errors that I had to correct. Why is that? The import function is clumsy and not useful. I should not have to import through the Intuit website. Why can I import form my financial institution as T-Tax had done previously
