the software / program is terrible. The experts were great. I spent over 15 hours on the phone resolving program issues. I want full refund. I have used Turbo Tax for more than 14 years but never again! Turbo tax should pay me over $1,500 for the time I had to waste due to program issues!

- First year of using desktop TurboTax on a Mac after years of Windows. Switching between guided and exploring sections could be smoother. - Missing a box on an imported 1099R turned my IRA distribution into Canadian Railroad Pension income.... - And, as always, paying for e-file (state) is just greedy. E-file saves everyone time and money. Use that savings to fund e-file. As I have done for several years now, I will open my state return and copy the numbers over into my state's free online e-file system...

My comments are found below. I would rate this survey as no stars since I am required to put a certain number of characters in each of these boxes before you will accept my review. I have just added this sentence because once again this survey was rejected because apparently someone else used the nickname Pickle.

Although I was careful to enter the actual dates of my estimated tax payments in 2025, I noticed when I was printing my state tax return (after filing) that the dates had defaulted to the estimated tax due dates, not the actual dates I paid. That apparently happened last year also, although I did not see it until TurboTax reported I'd paid my 2024 4th installment on January 15, 2025 (which is why I was careful to enter the actual payment dates). Other than that glitch, I am happy with how TurboTax works and its accuracy.

Generally easy to use, but you must know your situation and not just follow the program blindly. Review the actual tax forms to ensure how you answered questions is what you intended. Recommend reading the actual tax pub for any situation you are unsure of.

I have used Turbo tax for more than 12 yrs. This years features were much more difficult to navigate and downloading was terrible. I had to go back and forth to my Intuit account to get the software activated. Older version downloaded and requested license code on the activation. Frustrating and not as compatible with HP new software.

I was unable to successfully complete the Foreign Tax Credit topic using the interview process. The solution, both this year and last, was to call technical support and their solution was to consolidate the entries and directly edit form 1116 which is basically a workaround. This year that process was made infinitely more difficult because of the AI bot that answered the phone and whose mission was to keep me away from a real person for as long as possible. I'm a long time user and am disappointed that this problem continues to exist.

The interface is easy to use, intuitive and enables accurate filing. Technical support is outstanding. Intuit TT's Representative Katherine's service was highly professional, extremely thorough with a wonderfully courteous and patient demeanor. Thank you!

I had to call twice, and the in-person help was excellent both John and Elliot helped me solve my problems. Finding out how to call was extremely difficult. One was a software error that occurred during download. The other was trying to navigate back to change how I wanted to apply my refund, part to next year's taxes. It should not have been that hard to figure out. The AI help is 100% WORTHLESS!

At the beginning I was having trouble downloading TurboTax to my desktop because I was trying to install the "Mac" app on my "Windows" PC. After the second call into TurboTax, I was able to speak with an American that had a good phone connection. It was smooth sailing after that.
