I am totally satisfied with the software's versatility, ease of use, nice interface, and the ability to either be guided through all topics or work individually with forms and schedules. It incorporates critical help topics for almost every possible scenario. All calculations are being performed automatically with high accuracy. The TurboTax Advantage subscription is very helpful because it provides uninterrupted service year after year.

TurboTax is always challenging. It often exhibits a bad user interface, asks you to fill in answers it already knows, cannot handle some tax situations, etc. I always run across some situation every year that I have a devil of time figuring out. Help desk is less than helpful unless I pay them an additional $60 for real help. The phone line help could not understand that I needed technical help and not tax help. Had to use AI and my own experimentation to fix an income input situation.

I cannot e-file with Turbo Tax because my income is not taxable on W2's. You should fix this. Now I need to file an amended return and I can't find the form because you think I didn't file. Support used to be great but not anymore. I'm using another company this year because my computer uses Windows 10. Can you fix this? Getting too expensive.

K-1s are a pain to enter and it never seems to accept the data from the K-1. It always gives me a cummulative loss cannot be greater than an annaual loss comment. I am entring it exactly as I have received. With the result, I ned up deleting teh K1 and it makes no difference to the taxes.

after filling up all the data for fedral, it decided to upgrade and erased all the data. Stocks related info are terrible, although the file has all the info, this dumb software wanted me to enter everything. I don't understand why I paid $85 for this junk. It deserve 0 rating

TurboTax seems confused by addresses outside of the U.S. - it kept demanding a valid state and zip code for an address in Canada. Once taxes were done, filing took over an hour. The app kept finding missing/incomplete items that weren't found in the review process;

Absolutely awful. Program deleted my completed returns so they were not there (or anywhere0 when I went to file. The digital assistant is completely useless. I said it before, but I am done with this sub-par program. AVOID AVOID. Deluxe Desktop is even worse than the online platform and that is saying soething

It is so much easier and faster to complete tax returns using TurboTax software. I appreciate being able to keep an electronic version of the file for my records. The returns look professional because they are neat and orderly. Plus, there is peace-of-mind e-filing due to the process that keeps track of the return's status. In the old days, we would hope and pray everything was correct and the envelope would arrive safely when the returns were sent via snail mail. I like the options for professional help and an audit defense too.

The "guided" option for data entry was clunky and confusing. Did not seem to follow a logical sequence - jumped from one 1099-DIV to another. Seemed to be easier if I just entered all the data from one company's set of 1099 forms at a time. Going back and forth between individual companies 1099 forms was confusing and the process could been better designed.

You have made filing much more difficult this year. I've used Turbo Tax Premier Desktop for many many years and have always had the ability to save PDF version or text version on my computer (not on your online listing). This year, every time I attempt, to do that, you ask me to sign in and then start to make things more difficult.
