Systematically the layout is very annoying. If I have forgot to add say an item to my Schedule C. Painful process to get back thru the interview every question has to be answered again...my initial answers are not saved. I wish I could arrow thru quickly like a web page set up. I'm sure I could just do the change in the form like an override, sometimes the program won't let me do it this way.

I have three suggestions which I think may make the software and filing better. 1. Set the form 1040E sheets so they print at the top of the first page, bottom of the second, top of the third, bottom of the fourth so that when someone prints the tax return double-sided, they will print on the top of the front and bottom of back of one page. 2. Set a reminder at the end when ready to file to remember to enter your annual government-assigned PIN if you have one and even provide a link to enter it since it's a little obscure. I know it was user error at midnight, I thought I had, and my return was rejected. Just would lessen frustration users already have over this annual task and maybe would result in fewer calls to your help desk. 3. When entering all the items for charity, could you repeat the date of gift in the next entry so that doesn't have to be entered for every item. Then allow for a change of date if necessary for the next 'delivery,' and repeat that date since there usually is more than one item given to a charity, and multiple times during a year. Also, I miss It's Deductible. Can you be more friendly with Edge. VERY frustrating trying to connect to my two investment firms this year and had to research what to unclick which took a while. Thank you.

Federal is fine. Arizona is not. (1) Filing for a deceased person, but the form doesn't give place for preparer; rather, it populates "self-prepared." And it shows occupation as "retired" when in fact the person is deceased. (2) Also, AZ form lines 29a and 29b are exclusions that the TurboTax program doesn't allow for. TurboTax requires me to include those line items in a separate form for other adjustments, where the AZ form does not call for that. (3) Also, the new enhanced senior deduction of $6000 is added into that "other adjustments" total, but is not reflected in a separate line item, so it looks like I am simply adding $6000 with no justification. VERY disappointed with AZ turbotax

I was disappointed this year. I've used Turbo Tax for years and never had a problem This year, importing from my brokerage account was difficult. I paid for a Turbo Tax consultation and Alicia answered all my questions and helped resolve my issues. At one point, the Turbo Tax screen froze up (on a new laptop) and I had to do a hard shut down and restart. At the end, it kept pointing out "errors" which I fixed, but it continued pointing out the "errors." It was frustrating!

I hope that you are accurate, with the questions you ask, you are not as detailed as you were in prior years. I have used Turbo tax since possibly the mid to late nineties and you used to be very detailed. I no longer see all of my information for prior years. I do not see why, you are now on line and all the information is in your database and should be brought forward for review. After having paid 80.00 plus dollars for the program I should not have to sit and input all my prior information . Kindly see what can be done about that in future versions.

Overall my experience with turbotax was good. The gliche with downloading the previous year's (2024) Turbotax into the current tax year's (2025) Turbotax needs to be fixed. The problem I had was written about multiple times in the Turbotax community.

On some screens, I'm instructed to "check last year's return" for an amount. Well, I have always utilized TurboTax, so you should be able to tell me what that "last year's return" amount was. Sometimes you do, but not always. FOR EXAMPLE: You should be able to tell me the amount of the charitable contributions carryover from last year.

I've been a TurboTax user for approximately 20 years and I'd like to suggest two improvements. (1) I'm a single, senior taxpayer with most of my income through dividends and capital gains. I'm frustrated by TurboTax in that I can't actually see how my tax is calculated. The tax is not calculated from a standard table and I've never found a worksheet where you show the calculations. I'm left in the dark about knowing how my tax due was calculated and whether it's accurate. (2) I have never gotten through your foreign tax credit calculation without the final check showing an error. It appears that TurboTax doesn't auto-fill some of the lines in Form 1116, especially 1a and 3a - 3g, for which it already has the information. The definition of some of those lines is obscure, so if you're not going to auto-fill them, you need to provide clearer definitions for the user. Software issues this year were very disappointing. The loss carryover did not transfer from the prior year return, so I had to enter it manually. The import from Fidelity failed 5 times, though the amounts showed up on the forms but not the tax returns and calculated my refunds incorrectly. These are software issues, which have been reliable almost every year since I started using TT in 1997. These issues need to be addressed.

Doesn't get enough complete information from my online brokerage account. I ended up having to look up and do a lot of the computations etc. myself! I've been using Turbo Tax for more than 25 years and you still don't have the bugs worked out. The payment portal is mess. I couldn't enter my credit card because the box for the month wouldn't drop down far enough. I tried several times, (including trying to expand the pop up). I ended up having to use a card that had a month expiration date less than 9! Pathetic!
