1) TT does not release readme / change logs except for professional products. There is no method to know an update modified your taxes without rerunning your taxes and doing a line by line comparison. 2) In Forms Mode, different colors are used for different fields / numbers. This was in Interview Mode years ago. Please bring it back. Will be using different tax software next year.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and this year was a terrible experience!!! I have talked with other members of my family and we all feel you should go back to your design in prior years and remember all of your customers are not young anymore, but still believe in following the law and filing my tax return each year!!

Have used TurboTax for as many years as I can remember. This is the first year I was not totally satisfied with the product. AI interface is useless unless you ask a question it expects, HELP didn't. There were information requirements on this years return that could have been automatically imported from previous years but wasn't/couldn't. Biggest complaint was with data import. Previously, it functioned simply and flawlessly. This year was clunky, slow, and cumbersome. For the first time ever, I may at least consider alternate tax software next year.

This is the first time TurboTax has missed a big area for me. I have mulitple 1099's to pull down from several companies and TurboTax will not let me automatically pull the values in. Additionally, when there is an error in my tax return, caught by TurboTax, it does not walk me through the solution.

Easy to use and the format stays the same form year to year. I appreciate the different levels of tax software that can fit the need of simple to complicated filings. It is fairly priced. It provides guidance and accurate findings with good explanations. It has always worked well on Windows platforms I have used.

The software is very user friendly and simplifies terms in ways that anyone not trained in accounting can understand. The process was very smooth, and the best part was being able to upload statements that automatically populated the correct fields. Using TurboTax really took out any fear of making a mistake while making my return as accurate as possible. Thank you!

Love Turbo Tax! Always and great product, thorough, and easy to use. Only knock for 2025 edition is this: Fix the digital asset question! This year even if you answered no to the question, you still had to go into the open form and manually check the box. Should be an easy fix to integrate for next year

Overall, the product worked well and was fairly intuitive. I feel like the charge at the end needs to be more clear that it is only for the additional charge for filing the state taxes and the payment that will be sent to the state for those of us who aren't getting a refund, will be deducted from from the previously chosen account and not from the charge card. Also, the update in order to file was frustrating. I had to choose update twice in order to make it work because the 1st one failed. Fortunately, the 2nd attempt worked and everything was filed as expected.

Have been using turbo tax for approximately 20 years. I purchase the Premier version.This year it has less features on various levels, Ex: they took out the donation value calculation program. It makes it MUCH HARDER to do taxes without it. There are also glitches within the program. Ex: It asks me if I want to file a Washington State tax return, and that I can't e-file because of this WA thing. I do not have anything to do with Washington state. This year it also gives HUGE RED BOXES and CAUTION SIGNS. Do they not understand how STRESSFUL it is that these keep popping up?? Who in their company thought this would be a good/helpful idea? This guarantees continued stress in an already tension filled situation. For as much $$ that we pay for this program it should be better and less glitchy!! DO BETTER TURBO TAX

I got stuck with a login issue, I used the Live Tax advice and quickly resolved the issue. Then I got stuck with the Federal Review and / Fix. The form would not advance. I used Live Tax advice again, however we went through lots of menus of grayed out options (likely due to I'm on a Mac). So I started my taxes again from the start. I got to the same section again. Then I had to pay for Live Tax Advice again, since I lost my previous privilege. The person I got to this time quickly showed me how I had to verify and validate my 1099's and cleared up everything. From there everything worked AOK.
