TurboTax skipped over a couple of very important pieces of information. I had to research what form to go to, and then it was dificult to get to the form. I can remember being able to call up any form I needed and append it in years gone by. The "Help" function is useless and WAY behind the current technology as far as AI assistants. I can go read the government instruction pages without TT's "Help" assitant telling me to go there. I'm getting closer and closer to switching tax software despite the pain of starting over with personal and carryover information. I got right down to actually filing and got an error message that I needed to update the software that I updated yesterday. Took another 5 minutes to figure out how to find the "Updates" option. This software is NOT intuitive.

Love the product. Just clear up one detail. If you owe on Federal and are receiving a refund on state. Clarify how your State your tax refund is being subtracted from the amount owed on your Federal tax return. It can be confusing as if Turbo Tax is paying the Federal taxes out of the State refund when you see the statement, this is your refund and it is la lessor amount.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and continue to use it because of the people who have been so quick to help me get over some bumps that I was totally unaware of until I got more and more involved. This year was fortunate to have Aaron assist me. He was and is fantastic. I am 86 years old and not a technological genius! I'm sure as we continued to help me,there were times he had to be frustrated yet he never seemed to exhibit it. I was totally impressed with his knowledge and expertise, he was able to guide - even me to success. I will continue to look to Turbo Tax for the 2026 edition.

TurboTax worked well for me this year. The only issue I had was related to entering K-1 and K-3 information. TurboTax wouldn't allow multiple counties to be entered on th K-3 like I received them from my investment firm. Turbotax indicted multiple K-1's would have to be entered for each additional country. However, that doesn't work because there is only one source K-1. Entering the K-1 a second time ends up being treaded like a second K-1, so all the numbers get doubled. There was also an issue with entering codes and numbers, where I entered them into TurboTax correctly as requested, but later TurboTax said I had put the numbers where the code is supposed to be. Other than that, TurboTax worked well this year

I had huge problems trying to download the desktop version. If you are going to sell a desktop version, then you should make it simple to find the download screen and stop pushing the online version. If I had wanted the online version, I would have gotten the online version. No need to try to get me to go online 5 different times. Once downloaded, everything worked fine on the Mac. The investment screens were much more confusing that the old style...not a fan. There were some other minor confusing areas, but I managed to figure them out and go back to make changes if I did it wrong. Overall still a good product, but I think the 2025 version was a bit less useable than the 2024 version.

Overall, I really like TurboTax (I’ve used it for over 30 Years! [Wow is right]). But I specifically like the “Desktop” version (NOT the “Online” version). I say this because when I first updated my TurboTax this year (2026), I was asked to “convert” over to the Online version. I didn’t give the reason why (then) but will now. The “online” environment (and platform) has one MAJOR problem – It can “hacked.” (as you are REQUIRED to have your data [uploaded and stored] on YOUR corporate computer system). I am speaking as a Ph.D. (in Technology) – so I can say (with certainty) that ALL systems can be “Hacked.” So, with that, I will NEVER be interest in going to (and use) the “Online” version – unless Intuit and 100% GUARANTEE that their system will NEVER get (or be) hacked. This is, of course, absurd (as NO system is 100% untouchable). The ONLY way that I “may” consider the Online Platform is if your company would provide a 1 Million dollar guarantee (to all customers) in the event that your system is EVER hacked (no matter how “minor” [or major] it may happen). Meaning, that your company would give ALL customers an immediate one million dollars (per customer) if your systems are ever hacked (not piece mill). If you (Intuit) is stupid enough to give such an all encompassing (and immediate/no question [or excuses]) guarantee then let me know. I believe (from my expertise) that this would be a instant "win" (for me - and others), as I believe you will (eventually) have to pay out Billions of dollars. Streamline the entry of investment data for users that don't want to import for any of their brokerage info. Felt like I kept going in a big, repetitious circle. Simple question should be "Do you wish to skip the import process for all of your investment transactions?" Don't keep making me trudge through it over and over when it is faster to key in the few boxes than log into the brokerage and import. The sizing of the screen layouts takes up a lot of space and requires the user to do an unnecessary amount of scrolling up and down to see it all. Yes, you can reduce the page size to fit it all in the screen, but then the font is smaller and harder to read. A good balance of screen layout and readable font size is what we need.

My experience was that in many cases,I knew more than they did and actually solved the last 3 issues keeping from being able to finish my return. One of your experts committed to follow-up with me after doing some research off-line to call me back exactly 2 hours later. They never called me back. No good!!! Also, they asked me to send them a file of last year's return, but of course couldn't tell me how to do that. Also said that they didn't have a tech department to call to find out. Not good!!!

your program crashes on people when it is trying to transmit after people sent hours on it. Also, why won't it all you to just upload forms that can't be imported so they do not have to mailed. The import function only allows you from a limited amount of companies.

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2014. A former co-worker suggested it to me in 2013. I have used it ever since. It has been an amazing experience each time. Best tax preparation software EVER! Hands down! Period! Outstanding Job, TurboTax! Awesome!
