There is a 1099R glitch in that you have to manually enter the gross distribution in the state box despite the fact that it is blank on the 1099 in order to complete the return. The interview process for stocks interest and dividends isEXTREMELY AWKWAD AND NOT AT ALL STRAIGHTFORWARD. Half of the time when trying to delete the record the screen freezes and you have to shut down the form.

In the Miscellaneous Income section, I indicated that I have no debt to pay pack or to deduct. Yet, a few pages later, TurboTax asked me to tell it about my canceled debts!!!??? Huh? I indicated earlier that I have no debt. But in this page, it gave me 2 specific year to choose from (2020 or 2021) to tell it which PPP loan did I receive and was forgiven. WHAT??? What PPP loan? I never took out nor received any PPP loan!!! Worse is that I have to choose one before it allowed me to proceed. So I back tracked and see what I did to have TurboTax prompted me for my non-existent PPP loan. I ended up getting out of this section and skipped this particular portion in order to proceed.

While I was working on my tax return on the same computer, TurboTax asked me to RE-activate my license code repeatedly. It is very frustrating. I am using TurboTax DeskTop. I should not have to sign into Intuit all the time, and I should not have to enter my TurboTax Desktop license code over and over again on the same computer. Please fix this license code problem next year!

I've been using Turbo Tax for at least ten years and have been able to do my own taxes accurately even though I consider myself a computer dinosaur. I used to do my taxes on paper but there have been too many tax law changes and personal changes to continue doing them that way. Sometimes I may have a little difficulty understanding the computer, but it is well worth the cost to use Turbo Tax. Keep up the great work.

I was able to follow the questions and find and answer with my information. I felt like most of the questions covered all my needs. I would request that your questions be more specific regarding Long Term Care Insurance payments and loss from investments.

I had to wait on Turbo Tax to update depreciations before I could file. I also had an issue getting my last year's return linked. It took me several week and about 5-7 hours total trying to accomplish this before I coul file my return. Would you be happy?

Not a good impression Step 1 - We'll read you tax return from turbotax last year and get your AGI. It said I made $29 MILLION dollars!!!! Step 2 - Download my W-2, errors, didn't read data in some of the boxes with values Manually enter the majority of data - data connections for my banks did not exist and if they did, you had to triple check the accuracy, Issues with foreign tax credit forms not being autopoulated correctly - prevented me from filing my taxes...UGH!!!!!! It's a step backwards. TT use to be a great product. H&R Block app next year

I've used Turbo Tax for over 35 years. My returns are fairly simple, but over the years I have talked to your people. They are extremely helpful. I did not need to this year. You've got an outstanding product that is simple to use, very efficient, and very user friendly. Please do not over tweak it. I've seen companies that are trying to make their product better, but sometimes it has the opposite effect. Lord willing, I'll be using it again next year.

Changing the look-and-feel of the product from last year to this year made it a little awkward for me, since I am used to a particular look-and-feel. I also could not find the non-cash charitable contribution valuation guide that was previously in the program.

TurboTax is getting better slowly, but it is still far behind in terms of accessibility. I hav ben usin TurboTax for over 20 years and have noted marginal improvement, which seemed to imply adaptation, but in a very methodical way; however, I have noticed that as I have gotten blind, the accessibility features do not keep up to date. I need someone who can see to help me navigate the interface sinc my screen reader does not know what to do with many of the unlabeled buttons and check boxes. I'm sure the interface looks good, but I would prefer a more stark interface that is more efficient. But, I am still using TurboTax so the interview interface and help menus are still very good. I have and would recommend TurboTax. sure
