The software for 2025 is glitchy and had frequent delays on moving to the next page when clicking the "continue" or "next" buttons. In some cases, all entered data was lost and we were returned to the beginning of the income or deduction section. Overall, generated a seemingly accurate return, but the user experience for 2025 was not great.

As usual, TT works well and I will continue to use it yearly. There are 2 things I'd like to see improved. 1. It's frustrating to wait for updates uploads for several minutes only to be old there are no new updates. 2. Was mislead when I manually entered Form 1099-DA from Coinbase. I was unable to import this. In the step by step TT suggested it is easier to just enter the total of all transactions. after I did this, Iwas told I need to mail the form to the IRS and time it so it arrives with my E-file. I then went back and entered each transaction and the mail in requirement went away. Iknow Crypto forms are new and hopefully you can fine tune this. Overall I am quite satisfied! Thanks

You lost stars because you got rid of ItsDeductable. Made a lost more work for me to do my taxes. Have to consider other product offerings next year if you don't bring it back. Charge $10 to those who want it to cover your on-going maintenance costs..

This year was torture. My small business was changed to having kids in my home for day care because my position is teacher at a dog sport business!!! I could not file my federal return because I had to pay for the state return first. Your method of adding a credit card would not let me enter any number below what was on the screen months 1 - 8. All of my credit cards had expirations in months 9 - 12. Stupid reason for not being able to file my return!!!

Initially, I recalled I had purchased 2025 TurboTax immediately after submitting 2024 Tax Returns, but is was not user friend when I first attempted to find that I had... but thankfully I had email, so I kept digging, as it first, it was asking me to set up another profile and I may have ended up purchasing a 2nd time. Also, two or three times I had to enter my new address that I have been using for 5 years.... yet it had two older addresses that I had to correct at different points in the process - again, this was confusing. It would be helpful to have more video examples of how to complete forms, such as the HSA form, etc.

I am generally satisfied with TurboTax and prefer the desktop version to the online version. My main issue is related to importing 1099 data from brokerages. If you are expecting multiple 1099s from the same broker and you can't download all of them initially due to unavailability of some of them, then later on when you are able to download the remaining 1099(s) from that broker, even if you only select the missing one(s), TurboTax will still insist on downloading all 1099s from that brokerage (even if you don't check all the boxes) and any manual data for the existing 1099s you entered will be lost and have to be reentered. I don't recall this being the case in previous years. I would prefer the option to not automatically download unchecked items when you revisit a brokerage.

I've used Turbo Tax for over 35 years. My returns are fairly simple, but over the years I have talked to your people. They are extremely helpful. I did not need to this year. You've got an outstanding product that is simple to use, very efficient, and very user friendly. Please do not over tweak it. I've seen companies that are trying to make their product better, but sometimes it has the opposite effect. Lord willing, I'll be using it again next year.

Got hung up entering a 1099-Misc I received from Gemini for Staking Rewards. When I entered it a 1099-Misc income it wanted to set me up as a business. I don't want to be a business. I googled for help and it told me to just enter it as Other Reportable Income which I did. Turbo Tax should ask "Is this 1099-Misc for Staking Rewards.....then just enter it as Other Reportable Income.....or something like that.

When it came time to file, your software required an update and then locked up my entire TurboTax software. Trying to find help was fruitless and I had to print my return to file by mail. NOT Happy considering I had other issues when trying to initially file and your system rejecting my return do to the AGI from 2024 that it requested.

TurboTax Premier - Desktop had improvements in ease of use this year, particularly with bringing in forms electronically. However, TurboTax initially assumed that getting a federal refund would mean that I would get a state refund and encouraged me to proceed with the state taxes to get it, when instead I owed a fair amount. A minor point, but annoying.
