Customer reviews for LG 27 cu. ft. Smart Counter-Depth MAX French Door Refrigerator for[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this frig a month ago and the internal temperatures vary more than any previous frig we’ve owned. It’s a good looking unit but I don’t understand why the temps move around so much. LG has not explained.
Hi there. Thank you for reaching us. I'm so sorry to hear that you're experiencing temperature fluctuations with your new LG refrigerator, LRFLC2706S. I can imagine how frustrating it must be to have inconsistent temperatures, especially when you're used to having reliable performance from your previous fridges. First and foremost, I want to acknowledge your concerns and assure you that we take this issue seriously. I understand that aesthetics are important, and your new fridge does look great, but temperature control is a critical aspect of its performance. Please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport so we can help you further. ^Cris
What’s up with the air filter cover
The air filter cover is crooked on the inside. So it doesn’t hold the plastic encased air filter designed for this model. It came with a soft packaged filter. I cannot find those anywhere. It’s odd that the filter cover is has that defect. Also, the ice maker doesn’t seem to make a ton of ice.
You shouldn’t have had this experience with us. It’s disappointing and upsetting news, but we're thankful that we have the chance to change circumstances for the better. Thank you for your trust, and your willingness to share your experience with us. We look forward to hearing from you at our Customer Support line 800-243-0000 in order to rectify the concerns with your LG Filter and Ice Maker. ~Tanisha
Cavernous interior and sleek looking
Our old Samsung refrigerator finally fed us up enough to look for a better replacement. We found this refrigerator at Costco, and jumped on it. We can't fill the darn thing up, there's so much room in it. The inside cold water is nice, and we like the look of just the solid stainless steel box without ice/water dispenser. It makes plenty of ice, and I like the fact that since it's wifi and Alexa enabled, I know if the door is left open. All in all, a great purchase that we still marvel over-- and yes, I know it's a refrigerator.
Hi, Kevin! We are thrilled that your LG Refrigerator is such a marvelous upgrade and that you are finding it impossible to run out of room! We certainly agree that a sleek stainless steel look paired with the convenience of WiFi door alerts makes for a truly smart kitchen. To keep your unit performing at its best, we suggest checking that the leveling legs are properly adjusted to ensure the doors close automatically and maintain that perfect seal. A few problems.
I generally like the fridge but I have a couple of concerns. 1. The air filter says it time to change it. Problem is nobody sells the style of air filter that it has, not even LG. It is the one without a frame around it. 2. It is a little glitchy. Every so often it stops cooling. The power is on, lights and controller is on but it stops cooling. I found that if I unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in it starts working again.
Hey there, we'd love to check in and see what filter fits your LG French Door. At the same time, we can also look into cooling and power. Please send us a private message on social media using @LGUSSupport with your model, serial, and phone number. We are here to support you. ~TammyJo
Sleek and Sophisticated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the fridge one month ago and it is exactly what I wanted: capacious, simple, and sleek. The temperature is displayed on the inside. The shelves and drawers and smartly designed to separate items and organize! Highly recommend.

LOVE this refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some weird reason, I have always had a Side by Side refrigerator. A friend talked me into the LG French Door model - counter depth. I am crazy about it! I use the wifi function - way cool (no pun intended). It is so easy to organize. Really is well planned. Seems like it holds so much more than the same size Side by Side. Works like a charm! NYTimes Wirecutter recommended the LG refrigerator. They were correct! So glad we purchased this refrigerator!
Accessories needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like our new LG REFRIGERATOR, it’s big and has a lot of storage capacity, I’m giving it 4 stars because of two things. First, the inside the door shelves need size adjusters. To hold items in place better and section them off by type, I love to be organized. Second, I’m actually not sure if it’s our water, but the filter is not giving us very good tasting water and our glasses get a film on them that they didn’t before with our filtered water from Crystal dispensers at our local grocery store. Thanks about all I can say, we will be purchasing more LG products. We really need a dishwasher. Thank you, Julie Freccia
Good choice.
After a year with this fridge, I decided to share my experience. I really shopped a long time before deciding on this one, and I am happy with my choice. I had a noisey Frigidaire side-by-side with door dispenser for 17 years before this. Compared with my new one, I don't miss it. This one is so quiet I don't hear it running (my hearing is not great). I had to adjust to opening the door for water or ice, but the trade-off is worth it. The 26 cu ft space is amazing. I never struggle to fit more in. The smudge-free SS finish is surprisingly effective and very easy to clean. Also easy is installing, adjusting shelves, opening and closing doors and drawer, changing filters. I did take a while to adjust to the three-door layout, but that too was worth it. I will mention some of the negatives here, so you know I am sincere. It does stick out 5.75" past the counter plus handles (or the door bangs the cabintry). The ice system is slow and a bit stuck together. The controls are not easy to figure out. Despite these drawbacks, if a tree fell on it today, I would buy another one just like it.

Corrected non-level issue.
We like this refrigerator, LRFLC2706S. Delivered in early July '25. Our son has had his about a year and we purchased the same one. Unlike our son's refrigerator, which I helped set-up for him and added a water supply hook-up in his home for the ice maker and refrigerator water, our LRFLC27062 leaned back too much. And the height of the rear wheels are not adjustable. Our floor is level. I added a block of wood under each rear wheel measuring 0.380 inches thick. This allowed me to make the refrigerator level with some adjustability forward or backward using the adjustable front foot pads. With our refrigerator now level, the doors operate smoothly when opening & closing. No more slamming of the doors when we close them. And the pull out bin in the freezer no longer glides backwards when accessing it. The installation now looks proper when the refrigerator is viewed from the side. I have read others have this non-level (leaning backward) issue. Some think it's a design feature. I do not. Again my son's LRFLC2706S, purchased little over a year ago, doesn't lean backward. I think this a manufacturing defect. The rear wheels were not properly placed, creating too much backward lean when installed. But I corrected this error and it is a big improvement.

Displeased
Looks great but after just 4 months there is a disgusting smell both too and bottom. It’s been thoroughly emptied, and cleaned m. While it was being cleaned I put all my food into a large cooler. The cooler did not smell while the food was in it. After cleaning I put food back in and smell continues. This smell is the same as my last LG fridge that had a failing compressor (this was confirmed by a technician who cane to check it).
