I Am Impressed With This Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to replace the 30 year old Amana which never stopped running, ever. I was a bit hesitant in shopping for a replacement since the scuttlebutt out there is that all new refrigerators are junk but when I learned LG had redesigned the compressor and backed it with a 10 year warranty I decided to go for it. I am appreciating the subtle things on it. The easy to use internal water dispenser. The always full ice tray. The solid "thunk" of the doors closing. The LG ThinQ app. The WiFi connection. Mostly, I like the design inside, very easy to arrange items and get to them. If it lasts as long as my old Amana, it will be a winner.

water taste fix

I like this fridge. it's bigger than it looks and can fit a lot of stuff. Sticks out more than a counter depth fridge bc the doors have a ton of storage but about 4 inches less than the standard. it replaced. The water tasted horrible (like plastic/chemicals) despite flushing so we bought other filters and now the water tastes great. Try that if you have an issue. One star off bc the interior plastic feels cheap.

Cheap interior. Does not look like quality.

This replace my 10 year old lg French door that died. I liked my old LG French door. After it died, I replace it with this unit. I in the store I noticed that the inside quality of shelves and drawers were not as upscale and as high quality of my previous unit, but until it was installed, I could not believe how cheap the quality of this unit actually is. I actually regret my purchase, I don't feel this one last even 10 years. Shelved, drawers and bins are cheap and flimsy, If you looking for quality and a look of quality. Look elsewhere, this is not it!!

Love the Style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second LG refrigerator, overall, we are happy with it. We have had an issue with the ice maker, but it is minor. The counter depth style has plenty of room for storage of all our food and I like the sleek design and fingerprint resistant stainless finish.

Do not purchase doesn't stand by product

I give zero. Purchased refrigerator and lines on back of frig sprayed water on wall and floor while admistering water from inside of frig. Ruined our hardwood floors. Lg response is they don't install water lines and are not paying for any damage. But they sell refrigerator with water features?? Ok

Fantastic Design for Usable Capacity

We took delivery of our refrigerator on 12-6-24 and we just LOVE it! All the features are very well thought-out. We can't believe how much usable space there is, in both fridge and freezer. All of the shelves and drawers are so easily accessible. WE LOVE IT!

Plenty of room for everything, great fridge.

Roomy, sleek, functional. This fridge is only 3" wider than my old fridge and it can fit so much more! I didn't really care for a built in water filter but now I love that I have ice all the time, filtered water is out of the way and the filter is easy to change. The interior is very roomy and can fit all of my weekly groceries, food prep and left overs. The side door can fit 8 bottles of 1.5 liters bottles each side! I don't know how everything fits but I'm super happy with my purchase.

Nice, but Print Proof not Worth the Money

The fridge is great. I purchased a Thermo Works thermometer to measure inside temps of fridge and freezer, it holds temperature well. There’s lots of space in the fridge. The print proof is just a clear film applied over the stainless steel that still leaves marks. Ours arrived with the film already peeling up at the edges. It got progressively worse and ended up removing it completely as it looked so bad. Luckily it didn’t leave the SS surface sticky. The unit looks much better in my opinion. We’ll also be removing it from the LG dishwasher.

Compact

So much room

Only thing for improvement is needs a butter dish area and plastic shelves on door are a little cheap looking and thin. Overall very Happy!
