[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought in August after shelves in our previous counterdepth fridge broke and could not be replaced. We never liked the limited space in the old fridge anyway. We bought the LG since it had more room. We were not disappointed. This fridge has lots of room both in the cabinet and in the doors. We are very happy with this purchase.

I have had this fridge for a month now and am very happy with the design, the space and the ease of cleaning the front of it (due to the finger print resistance). There is so much room in the door shelves and that allows more organization overall. A gallon of milk and two half gallons sized containers can fit in the bottom door shelf. It's so easy to see everything on the shelves and the freezer is soo big! I am very pleased with it. The only slight negative is that the doors have to stick out a little more to clear the pantry and wall on either side of the fridge but that is worth the trade-off to me. Also, note that most counter depth fridges are a smidge wider these days but that didn't create a problem for us.

I generally like the fridge but I have a couple of concerns. 1. The air filter says it time to change it.  Problem is nobody sells the style of air filter  that it has, not even LG.  It is the one without a frame around it. 2.  It is a little glitchy.  Every so often it stops cooling.  The power is on, lights and controller is on but it stops cooling.  I found that if I unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in it starts working again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, we have been enjoying the new refrigerator and the spaciousness of the refrig and freezer. It is simple without having to worry about the electronics of computer technology. It fits what we wanted, which was functional, spacey and simple.

We’ve had this refrigerator for about 18 months. I recently started noticing small dents on the doors here and there. We’re empty nesters and extremely careful with our appliances. We bought an oven and microwave as well and we’ve not noticed any dents yet. The dents on the fridge are very tiny and not in one place. LG I’d like to know why? How thin is the stainless you are using?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge was bought in November, 2023. In late October 2024 it produced an error code and was not producing safe, consistent temps. It took one week to get service locally. Fan and main circuit board were replaced and anf firmware update applied. So far it is maintaining better, safe consistent temps even than when it was brand new. I worry about more poroblems after warranty expires. When working properly I do like the amount of interior space and layout. It is exactly what I need. The stainless stays relatively fingerprint free unless you touch it with wet or dirty hands. It is a nice looking fridge.

We like LG so replaced our 20yr old refrig with this - the closest to our old model. Some major design issues, unfortunately, they've gone backward. #1. The deep doors are annoying; unless packed full, the items clank around with each door open/close. Additionally, they make the refrigerator well past counter-depth. #2. If you open the right door first, and afterward decide to open the left side also... Look out! the vertical flap on the left door will not retract and can slam your hand if it's in the way when it's time to close the doors. #3.The deli-tray: It's crazy there is a solid top across it, that requires fully opening both doors to grab something that is right there. Our old version had a flip-up lid and I may cut this solid surface off and reinstall it with a hinge. #4. Fruit & vegetable bins have handles at the bottom, so it's ergonomically inefficient to pull open, then go up and inside the deep well; why not pull from the top to start with? #5. The ice bin in the freezer quickly turns cubes into a solid mass. Not sure what's up there.

Had for several weeks now and am loving this fridge. Previously had a side by side which I hated. Not wide enough especially on freezer side, and ice maker would jam up and either just keep falling out onto floor or get stuck. Even though may be a minor inconvenience to get ice out of freezer totally out ways previous ice issues. Have to open fridge to get water dispensed. But once again a minor inconvenience but very acceptable. Does allow a very clean sleek look of outside of fridge. In order to use all shelves available I did buy a couple shorter pitchers where the taller ones did not fit. I love the larger capacity in the doors. This is where the taller jugs of juice will fit. A bit of adjusting to the different style, French doors, drawers that either can open while one door open and one longer drawer you must open both doors of fridge to access. Fortunately we have a deep freeze in garage and have become spoiled by having that room for freezer items so I’m afraid that the freezer storage would be difficult for all the snack foods, ice creams, meats, etc. that I like to keep on hand at all times. If your good at staying organized and keeping your freezer area in check you could manage with the space available. This has nothing to do with the fridge itself, just my experience once it was delivered and installed for me. On wheels and kept moving when I opened doors. I had to unscrew the foot pedals and make them reach the floor so it would not move. Not sure if necessary but I cut a small piece of rubber matting, the drawer liner material, and placed under the pedals for extra support in not moving. Has worked perfectly. Also, the protective plastic sheets and tape is on everything and everywhere. Be careful when removing from shelves. I would highly recommend removing shelves to take off if your installers did not do that already. Shelves are slightly heavier so was hard to pull off tape wrapped around while in position and I was afraid I scratched back wall trying to pull off tape and the shelf started to fall, my fault, shelves are very sturdy, when I wasn’t prepared for that. Just a heads up. About a week later I actually found another small piece of tape on inside edge of door. Didn’t cause problems, I’m just saying to look everywhere. The whole outside of fridge seems to have a plastic sheet and I have not removed yet. Is not noticeable since fits so snuggling. Actually good that I did not notice and did not remove especially right away because my door was hitting a small magnetic box I had always placed on the side of previous fridge that never caused issues but since this fridge is not as deep was hitting door when we opened it and that’s when I realized plastic sheet protectors. That was good because my mistake of placing that item there and would have scratched. Even though I said not as deep as previous side by side fridge the setup of this fridge for all cold items is amazing. I actually have extra space so do not let the depth deter you from buying if you see the difference of standard depth verses cabinet depth.

Our old Samsung refrigerator finally fed us up enough to look for a better replacement. We found this refrigerator at Costco, and jumped on it. We can't fill the darn thing up, there's so much room in it. The inside cold water is nice, and we like the look of just the solid stainless steel box without ice/water dispenser. It makes plenty of ice, and I like the fact that since it's wifi and Alexa enabled, I know if the door is left open. All in all, a great purchase that we still marvel over-- and yes, I know it's a refrigerator.

This replace my 10 year old lg French door that died. I liked my old LG French door. After it died, I replace it with this unit. I in the store I noticed that the inside quality of shelves and drawers were not as upscale and as high quality of my previous unit, but until it was installed, I could not believe how cheap the quality of this unit actually is. I actually regret my purchase, I don't feel this one last even 10 years. Shelved, drawers and bins are cheap and flimsy, If you looking for quality and a look of quality. Look elsewhere, this is not it!!
