Only have the fridge a couple days, this is left of a review and more of a question for the community or LG to respond. We have reverse osmosis, so I have no need for the water filter. In my search for a bypass filter, there is nothing mentioned in the manual, and the third party company that supports parts and accessories says the bypass filter they have does not fit this model. There has to be a solution for a bypass filter … I don’t want to buy a new filter in 6 months but also do not want to leave that filter in indefinitely. Does anyone know of a solution here?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Large interior space, convenient water dispenser button, exterior handle design allows for access without having to touch the face of the doors (preventing fingerprints), warning beeper if doors are left open for an extended amount of time, quiet, good lighting. Cons: Power cord on top of the unit...had to modify cabinet above it to accommodate the cord, prefer a black cabinet better than the grey so it would match LG range cabinet. Had to schedule a service call to have doors leveled. Even though it's counter depth, it protrudes more than others.

Reported Issues Within 48hrs of Delivery
This LG is replacing GE that lasted 3 years (cheaper to buy a new fridge than replace the compressor that would come with only 6 months warranty). However, it looks like we receive an LG lemon. First, there is the open door beeping alarm which started about 30 mins after unit was powered and would not stop even though doors were closed with no obstructions and leakages. The fridge was also empty. Troubleshooting with a magnet as per LG support showed that there was an issue with the doors. Placing a camera inside showed that the lights would not go off after closing the doors so definitely an issue with the door status sensors. This particular model does not allow you to disable the beeping and also does not show the current temperature. The second issue we saw was the temperature for top and bottom did not lower the set target of 34F (top) and 0F (bottom) after 2 dys. The top plateaued at around 43-41F. The freezer (bottom) section did better at around 2F with a target of 0F. It is now replaced with a new one as the issues were reported within 48hrs of receiving (luckily). However, it took over a week to replace so we had to live with the constant beeping for all that time. The replacement units seems to work (at least no door open beeping) and appears to be cooling. We'll see how long the LG lasts given that there so many complains about the LG fridge compressors. From this experience, not so impress with LG fridge quality, but at least Home Depot support is helpful. While this unit comes with wifi the LG Thin Q app is another issue of its own. We have not found it all that useful other than monitoring some usage. We have used the Samsung equivalent on a dryer and it seems a better app over all.

Great choice
I'm very happy with my choice of new LG 27 CU. FT. SMART COUNTER-DEPTH MAX™ FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR It has 20% more storage than my previous Kitchenaid that occupied the same footprint. It looks great and I appreciate the extra space on the shelves and doors every time I open the door. Very nice at a good price!
Good Refrigerator at a Decent Price
I purchased this Refrigerator a few months back. We love the space and the fact that the ice maker is actually located in the freezer section which eliminates the icing up issue that other units have when the ice make is located in the refrigerator section.

LOVE this refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some weird reason, I have always had a Side by Side refrigerator. A friend talked me into the LG French Door model - counter depth. I am crazy about it! I use the wifi function - way cool (no pun intended). It is so easy to organize. Really is well planned. Seems like it holds so much more than the same size Side by Side. Works like a charm! NYTimes Wirecutter recommended the LG refrigerator. They were correct! So glad we purchased this refrigerator!

We’ve had a couple of issues however with the icemaker getting jammed and we had to get a replacement cover for the air filter as it was the incorrect one for our model however it was replaced very quickly and with no problem and that was good.

We never liked the limited space in the old fridge anyway. We bought the LG since it had more room. We were not disappointed. This fridge has lots of room both in the cabinet and in the doors. We are very happy with this purchase.

Stayed Cool During 8-Hour Power Outage!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After Hurricane Beryl hit Houston, we lost power for 4 days. Deer meat somehow leaked from the freezer and... yeah, we had to replace an old Whirlpool fridge that came with the house. As a replacement, we bought THIS exact LG fridge from BestBuy. I just confirmed the model number "LRFLC2706S." Today, we had an 8-hour power outage. We made sure not to open the fridge nor freezer during this time, but after the power was restored, I opened the freezer and expected to find water in the ice tray and liquid ice cream. To my surprise, the ice cubes were still solid! Everything in the fridge was fine. Nothing had to be thrown out. I was extremely worried about the cost of having to replace everything in the fridge and freezer. We JUST did that last July for the hurricane. It cost us hundreds... So, yeah. This fridge just won me over for a 5-star review. Highly recommended! I couldn't be happier. Quality matters.
