The refrigerator has never worked. We plugged it in according to the instructions and it has never cooled. After several days it also began leaking oil from the compressor area. Because the unit has never functioned properly, I cannot comment on cooling, efficiency, noise, or any of its advertised features. So far LG has consistently been unhelpful. I have called 2x a day everyday, no solutions at all. Stay away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old refrigerator completely died on July 4th 2023. The next day I purchased this LG fridge and it was delivered and installed 6 days later. This model has a large amount of interior space and the door shelves hold a surprisingly large number of items, much more than my old fridge. The crispers do an excellent job of keeping fruits and veggies fresh and the lower meat/cheese/etc. bin does a good job of keeping these items cold. The freezer is quite roomy and the ice maker keeps me constantly supplied with fresh ice cubes. The ThinQ inside control panel makes it easy to make adjustments .The doors open easily, specifically the freezer door. When you open the freezer door, the top shelf with the ice tray slides towards you making it convenient if that is all you were aiming for. All in all I really like the LG refrigerator. I am glad my old fridge died!

I bought the counter depth refrigerator in November. In the spring I tried to replace the air filter. The air filter from the factory was removed from the frame and shoved into the filter holder, breaking it. The factory air filter was square and the holder was rhombus shaped. I was sent a new filter holder, but it will not mount to the refrigerator. The filter feature is useless. My refrigerator has no filters available for it. How does something like this even happen with a major appliance company?

We were looking for a refrigerator to fit into an odd sized corner nook and this unit turned up at an sale price. I was skeptical that a "counter-depth" refrigerator would ever hold enough of our food, or work as well as our prior refrigerator, but I am pleased to say it has checked every box I used to judge it's effectiveness. We also switched from a black, smudge-proof refrigerator to a stainless steel model. I was not hopeful I would like it as I have family that complain of the hand prints left behind after opening and closing their appliances done in stainless steel. After nearly 4 weeks of use I can solidly say I like it much better than the black refrigerator, and keeping the finger prints at bay has been no issue at all. I simple wipe the handles down daily as I always have and I don't have anything left behind. The refrigerator is quiet running, beautiful in it's new corner, and holds sooooo much more even though we only graduated from a 26 cu. ft. to a 27 cu ft. The arrangement is just what our kitchen needed to give me more floor space in just the right areas, and more storage space in others. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would definitely refer anyone I know (or don't know for that matter) to buy an LG Counter Depth Refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am overall happy with the fact that this is a smart fridge which can run diagnostics. I did have an issue with the refrigerator turning off when I was away for a couple of weeks. I had not setup notification at that time. The meats in the freezer went bad and the stench remained 2 months later despite cleaning the fridge, changing air filter and water filter.

I recently purchased this refrigerator to replace a two year old (not LG!) fridge which could not be repaired. I was anxious at first because it was larger than my previous fridge. What a pleasant surprise! It looks fabulous and is keeping my food fresh. So easy to store and find food in the fridge and freezer. Quiet too. And perfect ice cubes. I am so glad I purchased this refrigerator. Highly recommended!

I’ve had this refrigerator for over 2 weeks now. It’s a nice refrigerator BUT. It has the water and ice maker and the water with that filter taste like crap. My tap water tastes better. I bought this because of the ice maker and water Have to tell you I’m sorry I did . For the money I paid for this refrigerator the water should taste good . At this point I can’t even use the water or the ice maker. If I could return this refrigerator at this point I would and buy something else that the water filter works. And can actually use the features. For the money LG charges I would expect everything to work

We love the water dispenser in the refrigerator and the ice maker is perfect. All the ice we need plus. We especially like the counter depth as it seems to enlarge our kitchen. Would definitely purchase an LG product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a sleek looking and functional refrigerator. I like the filtered water dispenser on the inside of the refrigerator. It has a large volume for a counter depth however is not as shallow as I would have liked because the doors are very deep so it sticks out beyond my counter by about 8" when 2" is allocated for clearance to the wall at the rear.

We chose the countertop depth model, as we didn't want it occupying a ton of space. The fridge is laid out well and there is a lot of internal space. Of all the brands and models that we looked at, LG seems to have thought through how to make a shallower fridge while maximizing space for everything.
