However, shortly after purchase the ice maker and water dispenser stopped working .A repairman came and found a kink in the water line which he fixed and now everything is working perfectly. The people who have helped us with the purchase and repair have been very helpful and courteous.

We love this refrigerator and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a counter depth fridge with a lot of capacity.

Not many counter-depth refigerators can match the 27 Cu Ft of this LG refrigerator. The difference in our new LG and the counter-depth refrigerator it replace is remarkable. We also like the ice maker in the freezer, it works very well and produces ample ice for our household. And I particularly like the "smart" features which allow me to check and change setting from my iPhone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with our new LG refrigerator. We love the clean look from the outside, with the ice maker and water dispenser inside. Despite being counter depth, the fridge holds a TON of food and is very spacious. Despite being a more "basic" model, it feels high end with a clean exterior look and high end finishes inside. The app is great for notifying you if you left the fridge door open by mistake. I do wish that the water dispenser inside was capable of cooling water more than it does - you do get cold water initially, but then it quickly becomes room temperature since the piping for this is located on the exterior of the fridge. I also wish that the doors weren't so thick, as they protrude quite far out from the counter depth of the actual fridge.

We've only had this for not quite 2 weeks, and everything about it is top notch. Obviously, I will know more as time goes by; I do expect continuing high satisfaction! My take is that this is a truly excellent refrigerator. The only DRAWBACK is less than great information in the product literature and the owner's manual. Due to costly problems I had had with my prior one (from a different manufacturer), I was seeking a refrigerator that didn't require an internal water filter but could connect to a water source and make ice and dispense cold water. It APPEARS that that is the case for this LG product. However, it isn't clear how to set it up, without an internal water filter -- I found several different answers on that from different dealers and different on-line postings. The owner's manual says, "LG strongly recommends that you use LG-authorized water filters to prevent water quality issues, water leakage and appliance malfunction," but I could find NOTHING about what to do it if I have a home water system that will feed highly filtered water to my refrigerator. Thus I neither need nor want to install an internal water filter!!

Got the fridge 3 weeks ago, due to its high rating by Homes and Gardens as the best overall model in 2023. Clean outside appearance and more storage space, thanks to the water dispenser being moved inside. Stainless steel door surfaces a welcome change, good for using magnets. Freezer door handle turns an upward angle when pulled, making it easer to open the freezer. Overall an excellent refrigerator. Highly recommended

I had an older side by side LG refrigerator and gas range that i lost in a recent kitchen fire along with an LG gas range. I replaced all of my appliances with LG! washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, gas range and the refrigerator. The refrigerator has so much room! I also like that the water dispenser is on the inside.

I bought this a little over a month ago and am obsessed. Prior to this - we had a different counter depth fridge, that i really hated... didn't have nearly enough space. Switched to this counter depth max for the space and really love it. I go grocery shopping and STILL have space in the fridge. We took the old one into the garage for extra storage and haven't had to use it one time! Thank you so much LG for making this!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this frig to replace an 8-year-old Jenn Air that was constantly having 'issues' especially the way the french doors opened and closed! I love this unit: the price, the way the frewnch doors close with ease, the 26 cubic feet of space and the flouroscent interior light that makes viewing easy!
