The pie was amazing! The perfect amount of rich, crumbly oreo crust, decadent chocolate filling, and topped off with a creamy whipped topping %26 tasty little chocolate curls! Perfect to bring to Holiday Gatherings or enjoy at home after a meal. Delicious! Highly recommend!! And the price is unbeatable. Great value!

Have purchased this pie in past for Christmas as it was a decadent rich dessert. Sadly it's no longer that. It's a chocolate pudding pie of sorts. The filling was a light colored chocolate and rather runny even straight from fridge. Texture was gloopy, sort of slime consistency. Flavor was super sweet but not rich chocolate flavor in past. Cookie crumb crust was ok but bottom a bit thick. We missed the baked buttery crust too. Whipped cream topping with chocolate shavings was the best part. We bought this pie ahead to sample it before Christmas dinner. We will not be bringing it to family Christmas dinner. Miss the wonderful rich mousse- like pie of past. SAM'S - you missed the mark on this revision.

The pastry crust of years before is what was great about Sam's French Silk Pie, but they had to change it to a chocolate crust. Not a change for the better. I'm willing to buy at the new, smaller size with the pastry crust of old...but this chocolate crust sucks! Please bring back the old recipe!

The changes you made to this seasonal pie are terrible. The chocolate cookie crust is disgusting. It changed the entire taste of this once tasty and sought after pies. It almost has a plastic aftertaste flavor now. Read and look at your reviews now. Whoever made this decision ought to be demoted at the very least. You've taken away something I look forward to purchasing from Sam's every year. I will not be buying this again until it is Changed back. Shame on you. Just tuck.

We looked so forward to purchasing this seasonal french silk pie, that is what it was called prior. New name, new ingredients, new crust, no taste while eating it and an awful metal after taste. Don't waste your money! If I didnt live 15 miles away, I would return it!

This pie is so good! I liked the old pie too but this ones chocolate crust is to die for. Another review mentioned the filling was like chocolate pudding and i think the consistency of if it similar to pudding but it's much richer and sweeter than pudding. I love this pie!

l had these pies years ago and they were good but now there's like 3/4 inch of chocolate silk and 2 inches of industrial petroleum based whipped cream filler

Definitely not chocolate silk anymore. It's more of a pudding. The crust is not good compared to years past either. I'm so sad, this pie used to be my FAVORITE! Please bring the old recipe back!

New recipe - Not good at all, agree with the others- bring back the flaky pie crust, the chocolate pie crust just crumbles. The whole recipe is different than the previous pie, which used to be so good, a family fav. Won't be buying this one again

Just requested a refund the entire pie Tastes like aerosol spray. complete chemical taste. unbearable, we're all having stomach issues now. And that is the only thing we have eaten. this needs to be fixed
