I get weak around chocolate, and this pie hits the spot. Wish they stocked it year round at my local store, but it has only been available during the cold months, replaced by key lime pie when it gets warm. Goes great with a cup of coffee or glass of milk!

great taste

While the crust was excellent, the filling had a pudding-like consistency, which was noticeably different from the Chocolate Silk pies we’ve enjoyed from Sam’s Club in previous years. Unfortunately, this change means we won’t be purchasing it again this season.

My family and I have been Fans of this pie in the PAST........BUT the pie we ate Yesterday (Christmas Day) was DIFFERENT but in a NEGATIVE WAY!!!! The Recipe has OBVIOUSLY been CHANGED and is NOT as GOOD as the PREVIOUS VERSION!!!!!!!! The PREVIOUS version gets 5 STARS in my book, THIS VERSION gets only 2!!!!! PLEASE-- CHANGE IT BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION'S RECIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changed the pie crust to a chocolate cookie crust from the traditional French Silk pie crust & renamed Chocolate Silk. Completely disappointed. Why ruin a good thing? Too rich now.

Did not taste good

The chocolate crust taste like chemicals and it falls apart. there is too much whipped cream, not enough chocolate. And still, somehow not enough of either one. The original recipe was worth 10 stars. This is barely worth 1.

My family anxiously awaits the French Silk pie every year. To our disappointment the pie was changed to a totally different version from previous years. The new chocolate crust and filling are terrible together unlike the delicious flaky crust and filling we're used to. It was so bad that we threw it away. Please go back to the French Silk version we're used to.

Something changed in the recipe. This pie used to be my favorite French Silk ever. But 2026 must not be their year. The chocolate tasted off, the whipped cream tasted "warm" and weird, and the crust was gummy. We threw it out. I bought 3, because I know they are seasonal. Now I will be throwing out the other two as well. Inedible.
