I get weak around chocolate, and this pie hits the spot. Wish they stocked it year round at my local store, but it has only been available during the cold months, replaced by key lime pie when it gets warm. Goes great with a cup of coffee or glass of milk!

This used to be the Ghirardelli chocolate pie that was in the freezer at Sam's. Then after realizing how popular it was, Sam's decided to start packaging it and selling it themselves and adding 45 dollars to the price the pie is very good. It is a Ghirardelli chocolate pie and every time I buy one I'm so sad that Sam's scammed us with the price.

I'm not sure why others are stating the pie tasted strange. I've purchased this pie twice in the last month and I would rate it as good as the restaurant made version of this at Marie Callendar's. It is light, creamy, and has a delicious crust that is chocolaty bliss. If your looking for an indulgent treat, this is one great pie!

Went looking for an Apple pie for Christmas but went close to closing time so my choices were slim. I saw this pie and decided to try it. My family loved it and they keep asking me to buy another. Don't want to spoil them but will be picking one up this weekend.

This is hands down the best chocolate silk pie you can get in our area. Just wish the store in Kissimmee would carry it all year, and not just in the winter. Other Sam's Clubs in our area have it all year, but Kissimmee only has Key Lime during the spring and summer.

While the crust was excellent, the filling had a pudding-like consistency, which was noticeably different from the Chocolate Silk pies we’ve enjoyed from Sam’s Club in previous years. Unfortunately, this change means we won’t be purchasing it again this season.

Disappointed with the ratio of whipped topping to chocolate cream. Way too much whipped topping in relation to the chocolate cream. Also the chocolate cookie crust didn't stay together, just crumbled like it had no butter to keep the cookie together. Used to be much better. Probably won't buy again and it has been a requested item for Thanksgiving/Christmas for many years 🫤

Changed the pie crust to a chocolate cookie crust from the traditional French Silk pie crust & renamed Chocolate Silk. Completely disappointed. Why ruin a good thing? Too rich now.

This pie was not up to the Sam's usual standard of good pies. The crust was blah chunky didn't taste very good. The pudding for the chocolate wasn't their sweet usual chocolate that they have and they should just stick to the chocolate silk pie with a regular crust.

This pie is not good at all. They changed the recipe or something and it is much smaller and more expensive, it used to be comparable to Perkins French silk pie. The chocolate crust is gross! Bring back the original chocolate pie with the flaky pie crust. I will not buy this pie again!
