All was good except imported data from Wells Fargo interest contained an erroneous MN state tax withheld of over $3,000,000. Because it was such a huge error, I was able to spot it and remove it. I don't know of this was a bank error or a Turbo Tax error.

Once again, and for the last 35 years, TurboTax has made assembling and cmpleting my tax returns very easy. This yer's product was clear, easy to follow and provided the resources I needed to do my tax returns quickly, without worrying about the accuracy of my return. Well done to Intuit!

2 items: 1. Why am I charged $40 to process the direct deposit refund? People have told me that they file online & don't get charged for direct deposit. What gives? 2. The program missed the IRS change of no more refund checks being issued. I file my son's return & requested a check. I got a letter from the IRS stating they can't issue the refund because there wasn't proper info for direct deposit as the IRS is no longer issuing checks.

I CAN'T E-FILE. SINCE I AM PAYING TAXES AND DO NOT HAVE A RETURN COMING, I NEED TO PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD. TURBO TAX DESKTOP DOES NOT TAKE ME TO A PAGE WHERE I CAN PAY BY CC. INSTEAD IN CIRCLES ME BACK TO THE FILE HOME PAGE. IF IT CAN'T DO THIS MAIN TASK, THE SOFTWARE IS WORTHLESS.

Unfortunately for Turbo Tax most people hate doing taxes, so with all of the charges and verbiage turbo tax uses (and has changed from last year) it's not in Turbo Taxes best interest to ask me to rate after the thrashing of doing all of the data collection and deciphering of all that goes along with doing my home and business taxes. I also don't appreciate having to invest in a new computing system that can handle the offline turbo tax software. My old system was way good enough to handle anything and along the virus protection I personally pay for their (to me) seems to be no really good reason to restrict me in using my window 10 computer. I have upgraded to windows 11 which was a pain because of all of the arbitrary restrictions and to top it off my laser printer does not work with windows 11. I know this is not turbo tax's fault, but it adds to the aggravation, and last minute scramble and expensive solutions. I personally condemn TT's move to limit offline tax prep to windows 11. I will never (if I can help it) do my taxes online where I do not have control of my data. Poor choices by TT in my opinion to associate themselves with the poor Windows 11 platform

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and have not seen any improvements with features when entry errors are identified. It does not explain well why the error, how to fix entries and offer "specialized consultation service" to address specific or unique tax situations. I wasted over 2hrs circling around the application with a unique tax issue but was not able to override the corrections.

The desktop version was frustrating this year, especially for crypto. The online product has a much better import and automation workflow, while the desktop version felt clunky, outdated, and far more manual. It makes no sense that a paid desktop product would have worse crypto handling than the online version. The biggest issue was having to do extra manual work for crypto reporting that the online version seems to handle much better. That is a major downgrade in usability. I'm also unhappy with the audit defense offering on desktop. It appears to cost more than other options while offering less coverage than the web version. Charging more for shorter coverage makes the desktop product feel like a worse value overall. TurboTax desktop used to feel like the more capable option. This year it felt like the opposite.

very buggy, got into strange lop if you went back and fixed something. Also it always generate extra forms even though you went back and cancelled the entry. make you wonder what other excess info it is generating. feeling less and less trust as I use the product.

In general easy to use. Annoyed by frequent pop-ups and ads for online Turbotax - "are you sure you want to use desktop Turbotax?". The need to manually make corrections to cost basis for options and RSUs is tedious as is the need to figure out the distribution of dividends between state in tax-exempt funds. Finally, a real pain that I couldn't port info for an LLC direct from online Quickbooks.

The 2025 Home & Business edition had one flaw - it did not have a "None" option when it told me to check a year I received a PPP loan. I received no loan, and had to call the TurboTax help phone number. Darlene guided me through the process of deleting the PPP form, and then ensured my return was error free. On a Sunday night no less.
