It has potential…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a solid device with good hardware. That being said, it leaves a lot to be desired. It really feels like a beta release. It's hard to navigate, the keyboard disappears randomly, and several games have a tendency to lag. All of which makes for a frustrating gaming experience. I hope to see some updates in the coming months that make this device more of an easy reach. As far as comfort goes, I love the ergonomic design. It has a really good hand feel. I like the color; white is classy in my opinion.

It isn't slow at all and is easy to hold . The controls are a little confusing but it's like a Xbox controller I am kinda confused on how to work it all. I'm still learning as I go. This is a PC and Xbox in one and is a very cool item . It's got great siound and picture as well. It's kinda pricey but worth it. Take it with you on the go anytime. Only issue I have is everything is little print and I have a hard time reading and working it. I highly recommend!!!!

It feels premium in your hands, like something that should deliver a full portable-gaming experience. But here's the thing, it's basically an iPad in cosplay. I wanted to completely love it, but it looks like a handheld console with its three different gaming aesthetics, but once you start using it, you realize it's really just a handheld computer that can play games—not something that gives you that true, immersive gamer vibe. The controls especially. They look slick, but functionally they feel more decorative than operational. You can definitely use them, but they don't deliver the responsiveness or precision you'd expect from an actual gaming handheld. Concerning the software, downloading games has been a headache, although it connects to WiFi flawlessly. Titles show an error saying they're already downloaded, yet they don't appear in the library. Nothing kills the mood faster than wanting to dive into a new game and instead getting stuck in digital limbo. Lastly, the features have "glitches". For example, the keyboard. Several times I was trying to sign in with my password on the lock screen and the keyboard wouldn't activate properly. Overall, the system has great hardware quality, and the concept is cool. But if you're buying this expecting a true handheld-console experience, this isn't quite that. It's more like a tablet. Still solid, but definitely has some issues.

This version is good for kid gamers they would love ot got it for my husband who plays mostly madden and racing games. It has a horrible latency picture delay. Also have to rebuy pc versions of the games if you dont already have them which is something that should be displayed with in the specifics of the xbox function. Decided to get the more expensive version the 1tb and is a much better option for adult gamers.

Awesome unit I bought during the Christmas sale. Battery life is better than most other handheld consoles, quality of the product seems nice, and the screen size is perfect. This unit is designed by asus so it doubles as a computer. Looks exactly like a windows desktop and then switches over to Xbox. You can play Xbox, steam, and pc games. People would buy to be able to play there Xbox games like they would on the Xbox but they tried to hard to make it more like a pc than a handheld gaming system and it's to hard to play a game on it, not worth the value. Also a lot of the games are not compatible with it. It cost more than a xbox and does less crazy.
