I originally wanted the X but at the time couldn't justify spending the extra money so I decided for this one. For the price I don't think there's anything out there besides the steam deck that is a better deal than this. If you're a casual gamer, parent, bed ridden because of a disability, or you just want to relax in bed on the beach or wherever. It's the base version so don't expect to get crazy stable frames unless you play low settings and drop to maybe 720. Still can run major and modern games well that will surprise you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally has a 7” screen that is crystal clear screen that projects beautiful color. The volume goes pretty loud. The battery seems to last awhile. This fits really well in my hands and also in a child's hands. The weight isn't too heavy which I was really impressed with. I know this product can do way more and I've barely scratched the surface. I highly recommend for any gamer you know!

I highly recommend this gaming system it's like a Nintendo switch but better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never owned a hand held gaming system before and this one is super cool. It's works amazing and connects right away. It isn't slow at all and is easy to hold . The controls are a little confusing but it's like a Xbox controller I am kinda confused on how to work it all. I'm still learning as I go. This is a PC and Xbox in one and is a very cool item . It's got great siound and picture as well. It's kinda pricey but worth it. Take it with you on the go anytime. Only issue I have is everything is little print and I have a hard time reading and working it. I highly recommend!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This handheld is amazing! It's super compact and lightweight, the display is nice and clear, and the battery life is superb. The only downfall I have for this console is that it is advertised as a handheld xbox, but this device is no such thing. It allows for you to play xbox games with subscription game pass or games that you own through the xbox console. I think the advertising is a bit misleading but overall the device is very versatile and convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a solid device with good hardware. That being said, it leaves a lot to be desired. It really feels like a beta release. It's hard to navigate, the keyboard disappears randomly, and several games have a tendency to lag. All of which makes for a frustrating gaming experience. I hope to see some updates in the coming months that make this device more of an easy reach. As far as comfort goes, I love the ergonomic design. It has a really good hand feel. I like the color; white is classy in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hand held is very powerful, allows you to game on steam from your x box or buy your own games on it. The issue I see with the device is that it is advertised as an Xbox to go. You can only play games that you own on the ally by cloud gaming into your own x box or if it's a “play everywhere title”. They give you 3 months of Xbox premium but you need ultimate to download the pc games to the ally. Buying a steam deck would be cheaper and accomplish nearly the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It feels good in the hand but its really laggy and has been glitchy. As in button presses or touching the screen had no response. And it takes sooo long to load up a game. I will be returning it and going to best buy for the higher end model to see if it resolves my issues. Really wish walmart carried it as well instead of just the bass model
