The fragrance in this product is OVERWHELMING, causing my skin to burn, blister and peel!!! Neutrogena, nothing that comes into contact with any mucous membranes, particularly on the face, should EVER HAVE FRAGRENCE. Bar none. Perfume is for body and hair........no one's face has "BO" therefore does not need perfumes applied to the facial area. Think about that.

Simple, hydrating smooth cleanser. It isn’t too harsh on my sensitive skin. I normally pair it with the hydro boost gel moisturizer. It’s a good value for the price. I def recommend for anyone who wants a good quality product on a budget. [brand:neutrogena]

I only been using this product for about week. After the 4th day of using this my face being to become extreme dry, the next day i wake up to my face dry with a burning sensation in certain spots. They last few days my face has been horrible. It feels scaly with small pieces of skin peeling off. My face looks and feels very very dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few different exfoliants I use but I've had a hard time finding one with small particles to really scrub. This fits the bill on that. I have the Hydro Boost cleansing gel and like it so I figured I would like this as well. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean but not stripped and dry. It's probably gentle enough to use every day but I personally prefer not to. This is great before a mud mask, I felt it prepped my skin wonderfully.

I was using Nutrogena Deep Clean Exfoliating Cleanser for many years and I decided to try this one, as I thought it would work better to hydrate my skin. Unfortunately after a few days, I had similar negative reactions - burning sensation, redness, rash and peeling skin all over my face. I have since stopped using it and it is slowly improving, went back to the Deep Clean cleanser followed by CeraVe moisturizing lotion, twice a day. Just a warning that it may work for some but not everyone.

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before purchasing this product. I fell into the trap of the packaging and what this product offered: hydro boosted skin. I thought this could be a perfect winter face wash as my face is super dry in the winter. I WAS WRONG. Instead of assisting with the dryness, this only worsened my issue. I tested it out on the day of my 21st birthday - a day where I should feel confident and happy - but the opposite occurred. My special day was ruined to red, splotchy, irritated skin. I don't know what you put in this product, but it is horrible for skin. Like another upset review said, I don't know why this is still on ththe shelves. Take it off as soon as possible. Beware. This product sucks.

I have used this product for a week and now my face drenched with pimples all over. Never had this kind of allergic reaction. Never ever gonna buy neutrogen products. I have warned my friends, family and colleagues not to buy this product. I couldn't able to look at my face due to this product

Right out of the tube, it has a fresh fruity scent to it. I like that I have to mix the cleanser with water. Although it isn't a deep cleanser, but it is fun to use, especially as a face refresher. I would recommend it. Thank you.

I recently bought seeing that includes papaya extract and glycol acid (both of are good exfoliators). When I used it, the base gel cleanser seemed very similar to other expensive exfoliators i have previously used. However, the micro beads are a bit to harsh for my skin. I was left red cheeks and one or two small pimples. Didn't dare use it a second time. Surely, would have been better without the micro beads.
