[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Exfoliating Cleanse as it exfoliates, cleanses and keeps skin feeling smooth and soft throughout the day. i like the fragrance of freshness and the fact it has small exfoliating beeds that gently exfoliates the skin.

I purchased this today. Was looking for a physical exfoliating cleanser to use once a week. I already use a chemical exfoliant with 5% glycolic acid in it once a week. I did notice that there is glycolic acid in the ingredients and the label does have an AHA warning on the back. Immediately after using this cleanser my face was burning. I’m curious to know what the percentage of glycolic acid is in this product. Also am curious what the “natural” exfoliant in this product is. It felt like rubbing my face with micro sand. I am not sure why you would put a chemical exfoliant in with such an abrasive physical exfoliant. I rinsed with lukewarm water and used a gentle moisturizer and rosehip seed oil on my face afterwards. It’s been a few hours after washing my face and I still feel like my skin has been burned and feels like I have microcuts all over. Will be returning. I would suggest if you are going to put AHA in anything you should at least say what the percentage is to avoid people who have never used AHA before from burning their skin.

I never would have though before that a product could successfully exfoliate while leaving my skin feeling hydrated instead of striped, but this product really does both! I love that it has a grit to the texture but not too harsh that it feels like it's scratching my skin. It really feels great on the skin and gets every last bit of dirt/makeup off! I love that it also leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and not dried out! I have had other exfoliating cleansers that left me with dry, tight skin - not this! Would recommend to any skin type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im in love with this new facial cleanser. It has very fine exfoliating particles that very gently buff away dead skin. Makes your skin feel baby soft once your done. It is not harsh on skin either. I can already tell a difference in my skin.

This is my all time favorite cleanser. I been using it daily for two years now and it’s worth every penny! The texture is so refreshing and hydrating and feels like a cloud! It doesn’t really smell like anything but that’s okay with me! The packaging is also a simple easy to . open box

IF YOU USE THIS PRODUCT YOUR SKIN WILL TURN DRY AND RED. I HAVE WHITE BUMPS ON MY CHIN. MY SKIN HURTS. I USED THIS PRODUCT JUST A COUPLE TIMES BEFORE THIS HAPPENED. MY SKIN IS CONTINUING TO PEEL AND THE TEXTURE IS NOW DIFFERENT. TAKE THIS PRODUCT OFF THE SHELF AND BE HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS NEUTROGENA. THERE ARE ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME THING YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM OUR LAWYERS.

I thoroughly enjoy this line of products and I like how this cleanser makes my skin feel. It is a bit higher of a price point considering it’s drugstore. The consistency is a little thick but it lathers up nice. The type of exfoliant is a lot different than others I’ve tried. It almost feels like a thin grainy consistency, but there’s a lot of it in the bottle.

It smelled very fresh, but not overly perfumed. The texture was just a slight grit, so it wasn't harsh on my skin, but it also didn't have those beads that have been getting some much bad publicity these days. To say I loved it is an understatement. I will be buying this again and again.

It’s not too harsh, which can be the main issue with a lot of exfoliating products. But, it does not leave your skin burning, or raw, but does a good job of just helping get rid of that thin layer of dead skin. Smell is good, and does not stink and I would recommend this to my friends for sure
