This exfoliating cleanser is gentle and gets the job done. The exfoliating beads in the cleanser are smaller than other products I have tried and it feels less harsh than other products. I try to use this product twice a week and find it to be very cost effective. One bottle will last you a long time if you do not exfoliate every day. (Spoiler, you do not need to exfoliate every day)

I found it to be a gentle exfoliation, which is nice to use, since many harsh cleansers irritate my skin. It did leave my face a little dry, but not uncomfortably so where my skin felt tight. Both my daughter and I noticed fewer blackheads and breakouts within the first week of using it.

I've been using Clean & Clear Daily Pore Face Cleanser for about 10 years or more. I thought I'd try something new that might be more hydrating to my skin. I purchased not 1, but 2 containers of this Hydro Boost Daily Gel Cream Exfoliating Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid (because I like to keep one in the shower, and one by my sink). I've used it for about 3/4 days and the texture of my skin has completely changed and not for the better! It used to feel smooth and with average moisture, and now it's rough and super dry! I am using double the amount of moisturizer just to feel semi-normal. I hate that I wasted money on this product and learned my lesson... if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I just hope I can get back to where I was before I screwed my face up. Very disappointed.

I have been using Neutrogena products over 4 years and have loved every single one! It is truly and honestly amazing! So decided to try their new Hydro Boost, the first night I tried it I got out the shower and my cheek bone and nose area were red and also hurt it felt like a really bad sunburn so tried it again the next day but had the same result so wasn't to satisfied about that but it's the only product I have ever had an issue with every other product has been amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wash left my skin dry, rather than smooth and hydrated as it claims. I had to moisturize immediately after use, and again an hour later. I don't doubt that it cleaned my face, however it certainly did not leave my skin feeling moisturized.

The packaging for this product too closely resembles your Eye Makeup Remover Lotion, creating a potential for confusion (at least for those of us who might not be totally awake when grabbing things in the shower) that could be harmful. I'll stick with your tried and true lotion for now.

I have extremely dry, sensitive, acne prone skin. I've tried everything under the sun, but could not find anything that would address all my skin issues. Acne products make my skin even drier, hydrating products tend to bring out the hives, and ultra-sensitive products either end up drying my skin out or making my acne worse.This stuff has been a lifesaver!!! It's been three weeks and my skin is completely clear for the first time in years. I swear this even makes my scars less noticeable. My skin feels hydrated and so smooth. Thanks, Neutrogena!

I bought this a few months ago and was so happy with it! I hadn't used neutrogena in forever but saw this and loved the packaging and was like oohh I wonder what that is. I took it home and tried it. All I have to say is wow! It made my skin feel so soft and clean. My skin was bouncy. I will continue to use this. When I run out, I'm right back at the store buying more. It's also affordable, which I love!

It smells amazing, but not overpowering. I love that it is a gentle exfoliating gel, and not too harsh. It leaves my skin feeling clean, and smooth, and is something I would feel great about using daily. It absolutely leaves my skin feeling moisturized and not stripped like some cleaners can do! I haven't had any issues with breakout either, which is always a big deal for me! A+ in my book!

I have to say, I love neutrogena. I usually use the healthy skin boosters cleanser and scrubs (my staple for the past 4 years). I decided to get the new hydro boost exfoliating cleanser and hydro boost cleansing gel for the winter since my skin is extra dry in the winter. I got it on Sunday, today is Wednesday and my face looks TERRIBLE! I look like I'm sick. For the past 2 days I've been itchy and scratching my face, especially around the mouth area. I dnt have any known allergies but I am disappointed in this product. I can't believe it!I love this company and stick to only neutrogena's products for my face but I don't know what to do besides throwing these 2 products away. I bought the hydro boost gel a week prior to buying the cleanser and exfoliater and had no issue until I started using the rest of the line. *I have never had any acne issues or black heads, only dry skin. I stopped using the healthy skin booster for a week just to test these 2 products. *
