This face wash does exactly what it says it will do—clean and gently exfoliate. I honestly haven’t noticed any huge difference in the appearance of my face, but it’s clean after each wash, which is fine with me. I also really love the smell of this face wash. I would recommend but I did not repurchase.

Neutrogena has always been one of my favorite skin care products and this will now be added to my list of products I like. It was not too rough but it felt like it got the dead skin scrubbed off. Very happy with this cleanser.

I purchased this product and used for THREE DAYS! On day three my neck broke out, my face felt like sand paper, and turned red. I immediately stopped using it. On Day 4 I have patches and what looks like burns on my face. My face is so irritated! I do not have sensitivity to any soaps or products...until Now.

I bought this cleanser, not knowing what I really needed. My entire life I had very oily skin, and I was a dedicated Neugtrogena buyer. However, after the age of 40, my skin started to become more combination. I had tried other products, but nothing really seemed to make my face feel clean, but not overly dry. So I picked this cleanser up. The first time I used it, what a shock! My skin was so soft, yet not dry. It almost felt like velvet! Fast forward a month later, and my skin looks and feels amazing every day, and I got an extra perk from the cleanser - my milia (hard, keratin-based bumps) that I had had for years, disappeared! I had one very annoying one under my eye, and it's now gone! And the one I had on my eyelid is shrinking more and more by the day!

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before purchasing this product. I fell into the trap of the packaging and what this product offered: hydro boosted skin. I thought this could be a perfect winter face wash as my face is super dry in the winter. I WAS WRONG. Instead of assisting with the dryness, this only worsened my issue. I tested it out on the day of my 21st birthday - a day where I should feel confident and happy - but the opposite occurred. My special day was ruined to red, splotchy, irritated skin. I don't know what you put in this product, but it is horrible for skin. Like another upset review said, I don't know why this is still on ththe shelves. Take it off as soon as possible. Beware. This product sucks.

After a lot of research on exfoliators, I decided to try this since it claimed it would be super hydrating and contained hyaluronic acid. I have attempted to use this about 3 times and each time experience very dry, red sensation and get white patchy bumps (almost hive like) on cheeks. Very disappointed.

I bought this product and I was super happy because it claims to be hydrating so I tried it once and I felt the moisture on my skin, but when I tried it the second time I noticed my skin looked patchy and my under eye area was swelling a little bit after that my skin felt rough and looked dry, I guess I was allergic to one of the ingredients so sad because I wanted this product to work for me, but now it's sitting on the corner of my bathroom and I am afraid to give it to someone.

I purchased this item last week Saturday because I liked the face mask and the eye cream , I wanted to smooth my face so I decided to purchase the exfoliating cleanser, it is now Thursday the fifth day of using the cleanser . I am not sure what ingredient caused my face to break out, the first thing that occurred was that my pores started to get big, I thought it was a coincidence and did not think it was the cleanser, then the next day I noticed small bumps on my face and again not even thinking this must be the cleanser and now today it is really irritating me and itchy and it looks like I have acne my face feels like leather never in my life have I ever had this type of reaction to an exfoliating cleanser, I discontinued this product asap.
