This cleanser is sooo good!! I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks, and it is just perfection! I use it once a day as part of my nighttime skincare routine. It’s a fairly thick cleanser but has a gel-like consistency. It lathers really well, and the exfoliation feels really nice. It’s not too gentle but it’s also not a harsh exfoliation. It leaves my skin squeaky clean and smooth without feeling dry or sensitive. It does a great job at removing makeup as well. I also really like the scent. It’s not a strong fragrance. I don’t really know how to describe how it smells but it kind of reminds me of a slightly beachy/sunscreen/soapy scent. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this cleanser, and it’s actually making me want to try more from Neutrogena’s Hydroboost line!

Bought this after I bought the hydro boost lotion, and haven’t been disappointed in this line yet! It’s wonderful to use to gently scrub off my makeup or even after working out so I can get that nice clean fresh face look with minimal effort and without anything heavily scented. My skin is fairly sensitive these days and this is so gentle and easy to remove as I rinse my face.

i love how smooth this leaves my skin! it’s gentle enough to for everyday use which is a plus! Using this along with the cleansing gel is the perfect combo. I have always use neutrogena to cleanse my face but i think the hydroboost line is my favorite to date especially for my skin type since i have dry skin.

I love this exfoliating cleanser. Its rare to find a cleanser that wipes out all the dirt, grime, getting deep into the core, without any harshness. Neutrogena Hydro Boost is super gentle on your skin, and will leave you feeling freshfaced, smooth and clean. It smells fantastic, without being over- bearing. Just a very light scent that lingers. I love this cleanser. And may I add, no break outs since I've started using this. Huge bonus!

This cleanser was perfect because it mildly exfoliates dead skin, which definitely helps in my case. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and it feels moisturized afterwards. I definitely recommend.

I have sensitive skin and breakout to almost everything. I bought product last week and been using it and I loooove it. Puts so much hydration back into my skin and I havent had a breakout knock on wood. I definitely will purchase this product again. I bought this product a week ago. After using it in the shower one night I got out and my face was as red as a tomato. It stayed red for 24 hours. When I woke up the next morning my face was extremely red still and was itchy. I ended up with small bumps and a rash all over my face. It looked worse the next day than it did that night. DO NOT BUY!

Worst skin product ever. I really have never tried any kind of face washes (I know it sounds gross) but my skin has always been super clear. Here lately I’ve been really dry & my face has been peeling. So I figured I’d try something. I bought this product and used it twice. The next morning I woke up with tiny white bumps EVERYWHERE. My face feels like it has blisters all over it and it is so sore. I look awful. I will never buy another neutrogena product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was actually unsatisfied and dissapointed with this product. It left my face feeling dry. It's clean but dry. Definitely need a good moisturizer after. Something with sunscreen because of the alpha hydroxy acid that it contains. Not my favorite.

I wanted this line to work out as I was a fan of the Visibly Even line which is no longer available in cleansers. The Hydro Boost has a great smell and I needed a daily exfoliating cleanser. After a week of use my skin burned and was extremely dry with a patchy spot on one cheek. I initially thought the Hydro Boost water gel moisturizer was the issue but that made my skin burn worse when applied. What a costly and disappointing trial, I’ve never had an issue with neutrogena products in the past.
