This turkey was such an unexpected surprise this Thanksgiving!!! We cooked it per the instructions and it was so juicy — not the typical dried-out turkey. It was wonderful. Honestly, the texture was more like ham than traditional turkey. We will definitely buy this again next year.

We purchased a 15# for thanksgiving. It was very easy prep, 2.5 hours cook time at 350 with just a box of Swanson chicken broth poured into the roast pan with the turkey, cover with foil for the last hour and you will have great flavor, and not dry. Highly recommend!

We got one of these turkeys for dinner and we are so happy. It was so easy to just defrost and stick in the oven for 2 hours. The taste was excellent and it was very tender, not dry like our regular turkeys. We will definitely try to get one of these for Christmas.

LOVED this bird. Delicious, savory, juicy . . . and SO easy! Going to make MANY dishes with this meat since the smoky flavor will lend a special snap to oh . . .soup, tacos. chili, and sandwiches of course. Might go get another to slice/shred and freeze for later!

I needed an easy Turkey for a Family party (22 people). I don't really like smokey meats, and these weren't overly smoky, unless you eat the skins. I bought 3 of these and they were all excellent. I warmed them in Turkey bags and they came out juicy, with fall off the bones meat. Everyone loved them. They had drippings too. You can make gravy with them. Overall it was super easy, I would do it again every year!

These are very good, but they taste more like smoked ham than Turkey. I have purchased them for years and decided against it this year even though their good their just too expensive and I wasn't paying those prices this this year on one piece of meat for that price you can have a Turkey, roast and a ham at Walmart and feed even more people.

This turkey is so flavorful and tender. Simply roast at 350 degrees for however long it says on the package. Mine took longer because I was juggling other Thanksgiving baking in and out of the oven. I baked for the first hour uncovered, in that time it had gotten that lovely mahogany color, the remaining time it was cooked covered with foil. I also added stuffing to the pan before covering. I don't care for regular turkey, but this one has just the right amount of smoke to make it delicious.

Just Awful! Bought this for Thanksgiving (2024) because the smoked turkey I got from Sam's last year was great. I'm not sure what brand it was last year. I even went back and got another for Christmas. This Turkey got thrown away. It had an awful taste/flavor. Very weird, can't explain it. It definitely wasn't a smoked taste. Didn't even taste like turkey. So disappointed when you have quest! Will not buy again! A waste of $30!

It's tasty but kind of dry. In my opinion. it tasted liked ham. Not salty just right.

Over priced and not very good.
