It didn't have much of a smoked flavor at all. It's very moist, but somewhat salty, so I suspect it was injected with a lot of brine. It's a reasonable price, but don't expect a 'smoked' turkey.

This was moist and delicious. We cooked it on the grill over charcoal for an hour then moved it to the oven until temperature. We'll be getting these next year if Sam's carries them. Please carry them!

We bought this hickory smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. It had great smoked flavor and was very moist. We decided to split the turkey in half and reheated it in 2 pans. This cut down the amount of time in the oven. Overall it was a big hit.

I've never been a fan of Turkey, but this has been a game changer! It was so moist and delicious. I hope they continue to sell this because this is the only Turkey I want to buy!!

Buyer beware, tastes like corned beef brine, not fresh smoked. Very disappointed, turkey is over brined pink, and texture is rubbery. Very expensive mistake.

Horrible if you’re wanting turkey. First off it smelled like we were baking a ham. Sliced it up and it’s pink. Tasted like a ham and not a good one. Embarrassed we served this to family on a holiday.

I was apprehensive because of the price and had a feeling it would not be worth it. But, this turkey exceeded my expectations for sure. Definitely worth trying!

Thanksgiving '24 -- I thought I would save some work this year, and try this Vacuum Packed refrigerated Smoked Turkey. it was "OK", but I won't do it again! The bright side is that it was just my wife and I this year, so i didn't embarrass myself! I only cooked 1/2 and threw the other 1/2 away.

We were actually looking for the Butterball smoked turkey breast that we always see in the grocery store, but didn't find it. Instead we saw the whole smoked turkey and thought "why not?". Absolutely exceeded our expectations! We got a 13 pound bird, which we defrosted in the fridge and cooked for a mere 2 hours. The white meat was moist and the dark meat was so delicious. Usually we make turkey soup from leftovers, but there is no way we will have any meat left for it this year, because we can't stop eating all the left over turkey. This is going to be our new Thanksgiving tradition!

I overheard a family talking about how great this turkey was last Thanksgiving- so we talked with them... I am so glad we did- it was EXCEPTIONAL -one of our best ever and so easy (pre-cooked) and just bring it up to temp.. so it made prep a lot easier!!! GREAT TURKEY!!
