Just sharing this was our new smoked Turkey experiment for Thanksgiving from Sam's Club. They still have then. About half the cost of elsewhere. You still, defrost and cook it at 350 for 2-3 hours until 145 temp. Mine was smaller, 12-13 pounds and easily could serve 10-12. One of the moistest (white & dark both) I have recently. Wonderful flavor, not to smoky, very tiny bit salty. Meat is a bit reddish color, I think they brine it. Everyone was happy. I would absolutely buy again.

A great surprise, at least in the midrange(12#) i had, best smoked turkey I have had, ever. Tender, moist, with a tasty medium smoke that enhances, not overwhem. This should be a year-round offering! Smoke flavor throughout, totally even. Again, completely satisfied, grabbing more before they go missing...

People are complaining about the texture, but the main problem is it is way too salty. If you add gravy to this, the saltiness is almost too overwhelming. It is really easy to prepare, you're basically just heating it up. With so much other dishes being salty, you sort of want the main protein to balance out the other dishes, but this just amplifies the salty flavor.

This turkey is subtly smoked and delicious. I don't understand the 1-2 star reviews... here's my tip. Don't cook it according to the instructions on the label. Cook it covered for 3 hours at 250, then for the last 20 minutes uncover it and cook around 375 to brown the top. Best tasting and very tender. I hope to get another one to store in the freezer for another time! And the juices you get when cooking it make AMAZING gravy if you know how to make a roux.

The most moist Turkey I’ve had in my 58 years! Hope Sam’s continues to carry them!
