Normally taking an omega supplement makes me have bad burps, almost like a reflux reaction and the Youtheory brand has proven otherwise! I take omega-3 supplement regularly and I have to say I don't like the aftertaste smelling of fish. So I was surprised knowing this product is made of algal oil instead. There is one thing about fish that I didn't think about before, until I came across this fact on Theory website, which is fish can be contaminated with pollutants. It is possibly true in today world. Therefore, to get the same health benefits of omega-3 without consuming products made of fish, to me, is a great alternative and I definitely will be purchasing this product for my daily supplement intake. Some other brands for Omega 3 leave me feeling burpy and gross after taking it but I can safely say that Youtheory's Ocean-Friendly Omega did not. My only complaint is that I don't like having to take multiple pills for the same thing. I wish it was just one bigger pill, but other than that, I enjoyed trying out this product and would buy it again!

The transparent softgel capsules are easy to swallow and the instructions about dosage are easy to handle and calculate the amount needed for daily consumption. It didn't smell like other products I used from a big wholesale distributor which positively surprised me. The use of marine microalgae as the primary source is also a plus considering how omega-3 is usually processed from fisheries. I definitely recommend the brand.

I've been using You Theory Ocean-Friendly Omega-3 for several weeks now and am pleased with the product. First, the size of the capsules is just right. Although you need to take 2 softgels to meet the recommended dose, they are slimmer than other I've used and aren't so large that it's uncomfortable to take. Second, my favorite part about these is that there's no fishy aftertaste! One thing I hate about most of the Omega-3 capsules is that they leave a gross aftertaste or cause me to burp up a fish taste for the rest of the day. The algae oil that's used for these has no such taste. While it's too soon to see how this has impacted my HDL levels, I will continue to buy these simply for the fact that they're more pleasant to take than others I've tried.

It was unique and made of aluminum which is essily recyclable which definitely showed me that the company cared about the environment. A huge plus for me. The pills themselves have a an after taste that reminded me of the ocean. After a few days of using the product, i definitely noticed a difference in my memory. I felt sharper and more focused.
