[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Youtheory kindly gave me a sample bottle of Ocean-Friendly Omega supplements for free so that I could review it... I've been taking their omega softgels and have been enjoying them! I really like that these are a plant-based option, derived from algae grown in a safe sustainable way. I like that taking these means that you are saving lots of fish and sharks from being caught for making Fish-oil supplements. I've taken other fish oil supplements before, but they have given me some unpleasant side effects. Sometimes they would make me burp up a fishy taste that I didn't enjoy, but I don't experience that with the youtherory softgels since they're plant based! They are pretty large, which is typical with most omega supplements, but because they're so smooth they're very easy to take, and they don't cause me any discomfort. I love that these help support, heart, health, brain health, and your eye health among other things. I also really enjoy the packaging is made from aluminum, so it's recyclable! That is rare amongst any supplements I've purchased, as most of them are packaged in plastic containers.

The omega is sourced from plants and not fish. It's also in a recyclable aluminum bottle that feels exactly like those ball aluminum cups. Super light and sustainable! The soft gels are large like other omega supplements, and taste slightly fishy to me, but they're soft and easy to swallow. For vegan omega, they seem very high quality and my stomach is able to handle them really well! I would definitely recommend this product to friends for being climate friendly in its packaging and fish-friendly. I received this product in return for my honest review.

These pills also do not have that fishy flavor that others do which is a major plus! Definitely a must have in my opinion I will continue to use this omega by Youtheory. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know that Omega 3s are so beneficial for your body, but every pill/capsule I've tried has smelled and tasted like fish, making it less than desirable to take them. I'm so pleased that not only are these Omega 3 capsules plant based and they have additional Vitamin E, but they're also in a recycled bottle; that's a win win for me! Knowing that this is a sustainable product also makes the decision an easy one. I'll be using these from now on!

I have been taking omega 3 fish oil for years and many brands leave that fishy aftertaste, I love that this brand is plant based source and ocean friendly, it doesn't leave a fishy aftertaste, even though the gel capsule is large it is easy to swallow (it is very difficult for me to swallow large capsules). I will definitely continue purchasing and would highly recommend them.

Previously I had avoided taking fish oil because I have a lap band and the aftertaste was absolutely horrible. With the Ocean Friendly Omega, I do not have that aftertaste and can now once again reap the benefits of an omega supplement. Thank you for developing such a good product!
