The suction power is absolutely insane - it picked up stuff from my carpets that I swear was woven into the fibers. Picks up animal hair with ease and ZERO hair wrapped up in the bottom! I have long hair and I always have to cut it out of the bottom rollers in my Dyson.. It drives me crazy. I have used this Shark a handful of times now and have had zero issues. That alone is reason for me to never look back! I love the lights, how easy it is to empty, the attachments.. Just all around an amazing vacuum. I would 100% repurchase and recommend to anyone, especially those who feel like they’re drowning in dog hair. Awesome job, Shark!

The detachable hose and accessories allows you to dust furniture and blinds as well as clean other items such as sofas. The vacuum itself has multiple settings. There is a cool knob you can use to change the flooring type or you can leave it on automatic. When it goes over carpet the vacuum really propels forward- you need to be strong to hold on to it. There’s also a cleanliness indicator. If the vacuum senses a lot of of dirt, it turns to boost (purple circles). There are side sensors when it knows the vacuum is up against something. There are so many cool features. My dad was visiting when this arrived and he’s now interested in getting one!

I always thought my old vacuum did well but with two kids and a golden retriever the hidden dust and hair it picked up was amazing. Love all the attachments and love the fact you can take it off the roller base for easy vacuuming the stairs, car, etc. I usually keep it on the auto sensing mode and it’s wonderful. Easy to love and rotate around and love the lights on the side when an edge is detected.

I recently moved to a new house with only hardwood floors and was amazed at how well this cleans the floors. The light on it shows where the dirt and dog hair are on the floor, and a “dirt” detection turns on when the vacuum is picking up debris. I highly recommend the Shark Detect Pro Vacuum. I give it 4.9 stars. It would be a perfect 5 if it had a retractable cord.

I was shocked to see what my old vacuum was not picking up after one use of this vacuum. The detachable pod makes this vaccum easy to maneuver around. I love the anti-allergan complete seal with the HEPA filtration seals that trap all of the dust, dander, and allergens inside the vacuum.
