Great Vacuum! Would highly recommend, it's very powerful! I chose this one because it said it was good on carpets and I needed for carpets on the upstairs of my house and it did not disappoint. It picks up so much that I didn't even see was actually there.

Love it! We use it every day as we have a dog that sheds a ton, and two boys. This vacuum sucks up so much, it is incredible and there is NO hair/string wrap under the beater bar! The led lights are very helpful as well. I only wish it had a longer cord. I did install a suitable 16/2 13 amp 15' extension cord to use with it which really improved the convenience. This Shark replaced a previous Shark that had lasted many years.

I bought this two months ago. It took a while to grow on me as I didn't like that it was so different from my old shark vacuum. Now I absolutely love it! Small things make a big difference. The led lighting allows me to see pet hair and litter that is invisible under normal light. The way the vacuum head is designed allows you can clean right up against the wall. There are so many other great features as well. Really happy with this purchase.

I have now had my upright detect pro for about a month now and I absolutely love this vacuum! I have owned a few shark vacuums before this one , the vortex, the rocket they have been great vacuums and have lasted for a long time especially at times with having 5 dogs,3 Cats and 3 Birds… I do a lot of rescue and with that comes a lot of hair and dander… This vacuum blows all of the others away! The strength is unmatched! Only thing I regret is that it didn't come with all of the attachments… I would've liked to have tried them out and reviewed them as well, but as far as this vacuum goes, hands Down my absolute favorite and I am definitely so so impressed with everything about! *****

I haven’t been able to use every feature of it but all the features I have used have worked out great. The power of the vacuum is fantastic and to me it is pretty lightweight. I vacuumed a room after it had been vacuumed, not very long ago, with another vacuum and it picked up so much more.

This is our third Shark vacuum cleaner, has always been a dependable machine. Our daughter still has the first one, which is over 20 years old and still works well. We like the new way it automatically switches from carpet to bare floors, and puts more suction on the side that is against a wall. The suction on Shark vacuums has always been awesome, which is why I still buy them. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is they took away the one thing that made it awesome. The body is no longer detachable so you can clean under your furniture and such. That is a feature we loved on our old vacuum, which we broke the plastic that holds it upright. If Shark will put that feature back on it, it's a 5 star product.

I used to sharpen Apex for The Last 5 Years and the powerhead on it went bad of course sharp never has parts to fix their vacuum cleaners because they just want to sell you another one okay I accepted that I've dealt with Dyson they suck they get on carpet and they just get bogged down you got to turn it off pull it backwards this one this detect Pro that I bought does that sum and I don't really like to detect part cuz when I use that then I'll get into my vacuum cleaner sometimes it'll start shaking and kind of jumping a little bit my simple Apex was good NOT REALLY HAPPY WITH IT MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE WENT WITH STRATOS DUOROLL

I have 6 dogs. Large ones. Was really excited to see the great reviews on this vacuum. Well I have owned it less than a month and the front roller is totally clogged up!! I dont put it on bare floors all the time to (hopefully) help with German Shepherd and Golden Retriever hair, but this failed miserably. :( I do vacuum every day. Have to, this is crazy. Now I am paying for a vacuum that doesnt do what I needed to do.

Succion is very inefficient, the different modes are useless. Very heavy, hard to manipulate. Cord very short.
