Great suction, build quality, and modularity. I like that I can fully break it down and change out the pieces to fit my needs. Additionally, it is a good bit quieter than our previous vacuum. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

Love it! We use it every day as we have a dog that sheds a ton, and two boys. This vacuum sucks up so much, it is incredible and there is NO hair/string wrap under the beater bar! The led lights are very helpful as well. I only wish it had a longer cord. I did install a suitable 16/2 13 amp 15' extension cord to use with it which really improved the convenience. This Shark replaced a previous Shark that had lasted many years.

I have this exact model only 10+years old. We needed an upgrade bc we have a new dog and I vacuumed the basement and it was a bit stinky. I did my research and I kept coming back to wanting my vacuum just newer. This one is great. I think it's 100% lighter than the older version. There are a few things I wish didn't change like button placement and the wind up but overall this thing is super powerful, cleans what we assumed was clean and is actually propelling which makes things easier. Again it's powerful so if you're not prepared for the propel it does jolt you a bit. I love it and I'm really happy with it.

I haven’t been able to use every feature of it but all the features I have used have worked out great. The power of the vacuum is fantastic and to me it is pretty lightweight. I vacuumed a room after it had been vacuumed, not very long ago, with another vacuum and it picked up so much more.

I am super disappointed in this vacuum. I have two German Shepards and this vacuum just can’t seem to handle their hair. I do not have any carpet in my home, only hard flooring, and the vacuum continues to get jammed and hair gets built up and stuck in the roller. I have to take it apart often to keep that area clear. The chord on the vacuum is also way too short. I’ve always had Dysons and wanted to give Shark a try, but I feel like I’ve made a mistake.

I Love Shark vacuums and with 2 goldens I NEED a great vacuum. Although I love this vacuum the design flaw is that it should lift away like the stratos (which I had prior to this vacuum) so that you can easily get under furniture. I honestly thought it did which is why I bought this one instead of another stratos but that was my fault for not researching better.

Regretted this purchase within days. On carpet or large area rugs anchored by furniture it's ok. Not great but ok. Unless there's a setting I haven't found yet, it's impossible to vacuum smaller rugs without it trying to pull the rug into the roller. You can use the hard floor mode but then you lose the roller/beater option to better clean the rug. It doesn't fit well under furniture unless you're willing to give up the power nozzle. It doesn't pick up fine dust along the edges or hard floors.- not even with multiple passes. The liftoff canister is ok for vacuuming stairs but there's no power tools for carpeted stairs. My last vacuum had a smaller power roller brush like a pet hair attachment - this one does not. Also the motor/canister area gets so hot it partially melted the crevice tool and warped it so it doesn't fit smoothly. The power cord is insanely short so expect to have to unplug and plug it in elsewhere to finish a decent sized room (like a master bedroom). And finally if there is ANYTHING on the floor like even a pair of shoes, it will lift up over the sole and try to vacuum up the shoe. This product was clearly QA'd in an empty 10x10 room with only clumps of dirt by a person who'd never operated a vacuum before.

I needed a vac. quickly. Shark is notorious for the plastic breaking, but the cleaning capability is 4/5. The power cord on this model is THE WORST, and most unsafe cord, I have ever seen. It is stiff, remains bent, does not ever soften to straighten out, and is a tripping hazard. Shark should be ashamed to use this low cost cord, as in the end I am convinced it will cost them! I cannot in good conscience recommend this unit to anyone.

This is our third Shark vacuum cleaner, has always been a dependable machine. Our daughter still has the first one, which is over 20 years old and still works well. We like the new way it automatically switches from carpet to bare floors, and puts more suction on the side that is against a wall. The suction on Shark vacuums has always been awesome, which is why I still buy them. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is they took away the one thing that made it awesome. The body is no longer detachable so you can clean under your furniture and such. That is a feature we loved on our old vacuum, which we broke the plastic that holds it upright. If Shark will put that feature back on it, it's a 5 star product.

I am an avid Shark user and I hate to say this but im disappointed in this vacuum. My previous stratos was much stronger sounding and the suction was awesome. With this one , the suction is okay but doesnt compare to the stratos. Its lightweight which is nice but I just feel that this one will not last long ...... feels cheap.
