[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Solid Gold Bone Broth Meal Topper in Turkey Bone Broth with Pumpkin & Ginger as an addition to my dog's dry kibble. She is not by any means a picky eater; however, she does demonstrate degrees of enthusiasm with her food. She was definitely quite enthusiastic about this meal topper broth. It's super convenient in the pouch that can be refrigerated once opened. I might prefer if there was a way to cut down on the packaging of these, but I plan to use these with my dog's evening meal from now on.

I hoped it would help digestion or at least help her absorb nutrients better during a flare. However, my cats unfortunately didn't like the flavor of these. They would not eat them. They do have a very strong scent, but no more than other cat foods/treats. It's hard to judge the product when my cats didn't give it a fair chance, but the idea is great for cats with digestive issues like mine!

To be honest my dog barely eats dry food alone and was not so into it either with this liquid topping mix. It might work fine with other dogs, worth trying for tho as it comes in small bags. Try different flavors and see if does the job with your dog.

They are picky eaters, but all three of them seemed to really enjoy Solid Gold's meal topper. It almost seemed as they picked around the regular food to get to the topper. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my cats have been using the Solid gold food topper for the past week. They both like the taste and gobble up the crunchy bits right away. One of my cats has a history of soft stools and I worry about him absorbing all the necessary nutrients in his food. I am hoping that this might help address this issue. As of one week on the food topper there has been no improvement. However, with that said, there has also been no negative changes for either cats stools. Since there has been no negative side effects I think it is worth continuing to use this topper for 3 months to see if there are any noticeable improvements.

We have tried several others but they were ground finely. The size of the nuggets in this were perfect for our dogs and they really liked it.

I've tried several toppers to motivate him to eat his meal, but he gets tired of them and some don't have healthy benefits. Solid gold bone broth is different from other toppers. It helps their gut health and has other beneficial benefits. My dogs love it and get really excited about meal time. Just knowing it's made from natural ingredients is a plus.
