I have been considering other foods to feed one of my dogs because she licks her paws often. Surprisingly, I haven't noticed her doing so while on this dog food. She enjoys the taste and gets super excited when feeding time comes. The only thing I might would change is the price; however, if you're only feeding one dog, it's doable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a dog owner of a hypoallergenic dog, who is anything by allergenic, I was more than willing to give this food a try! We have tried most "limited ingredient" foods on the market and have not seen much improvement as far has his itching/licking goes, with that said, we he has been on Zignature dry dog food for the better part of two years now. I introduced this food to him and he ate it without hesitation, so, I assume it has a pleasant taste. We did finish the bag without problem, digestive or otherwise. Price point, this falls right in line with all the other limited ingredient brands. I will definitely be on the lookout for this when we are ready for our next purchase, as I have not seen this where we buy our food-cute packaging!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try Solid Gold Nutrientboost topper to share my opinion. My dog was super excited, as he is every time he gets a treat. It was super easy to add to any bowl of food or even to grab a couple of kibbles out of the bag and toss him a treat. The topper was dark, brown kibble like pieces about the size of plain M&M's, for a size description. The pouch the topper comes in is resealable. That is great. Helps keep it from spilling and hopefully keeps the dry kibbles fresher and from picking up moisture or ither scents. I cannot day that I noticed a big difference in my dog's digestion, as we have always had pretty regular dog bathroom habits. So, I cannot say that the digestion aspect was helped or changed in any way from using this topper with our dog's regular food. The aspects of nutrient absorption that is mentioned, again, isn't anything I can specify or say this is happening. I do know, though, that my dog's excitement to see the topper come out, and get placed on his bowl gabe him a lot of excitement and he started to eat promptly whenever we added some to his bowl. I would find him at times, seemingly rooting around his bowl as if to try hunting down more of the topper kibs. I feel that the topper was a hit from watching my pet's reaction to grabbing the bag and snarfing down his bowl of food.

With two large dogs, the packet didn't last long, but for the few days we used it, the dogs LOVED it! We gave each a couple tablespoons on their evening food and both dogs enthusiastically gobbled it up. My daughter, who is responsible for the nightly feedings, has already said that we should buy more so we can more adequately see how adding the topper to their food benefits them. We are planning on buying more soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mucho picky boy LOVES this stuff! The ingredients are simple and loaded with nutrients. As someone who is particular what I feed my cat, this fits the bill. I also like that the ingredients are different than your typical cat topper/food. It is good to add variety not only to enhance the pallet, but also to provide a variety of nutritional items. I'm even thinking about using this as cat treats, in addition, since it is LOADED with minerals and vitamins. Makes me feel a little bit better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mixed this dog food with my dog's regular Blue Buffalo as a mix in, and he really liked it. He actually picked out the Solid Gold pieces, so I know the flavor must be there. Dog enjoyed eating it.

My male has terrible Allergies...I have been using a Lamb an rice food before trying Solid Gold...1st time I mixed it with the food he had been eating so we wouldn't get loose poops...Odin did very well with the Solid Gold...no upset tummy...my Female even ate some...she also liked it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample bag of solid gold nutrientboost cat food topper in return of my honest opinion. My cats approached me immediately after I opened the package and I assume it was because the love the smell. I mix it in with their kibble and they finish it in no time. Thankfully this food topper has settled well in their tummies. The bag is easy to seal which is very convenient for storage, you don't want a mess every time the bag tips over. I would recommend it if you have picky eaters at home!
