I purchased this pool in preparation for summer. After assembling the pool and beginning to fill it with water, we discovered that an important component was missing. While all other items were included — such as the pool pump, ladder, and pool cover — the vacuum pool skimmer maintenance kit was not in the box. I contacted the store, and they advised me to come in so they could provide the missing item from another pool box. However, after opening two additional new pool boxes, they discovered that both were also missing the same maintenance kit. At that point, I was told that my only option was to return the pool for a refund, which was not ideal since I wanted to keep the pool and simply receive the missing component. I then contacted Sam's Club customer service directly to see if another solution could be provided. While I did eventually receive a partial refund to compensate for the missing item, it is still misleading for the packaging to advertise and display that the maintenance kit is included when, in multiple cases, it was not actually inside the box.

purchased and set up the pool same day...after filling we realized the pool has two holes. look at reviews online for this brand and you will see a lot of the same comments. so frustrating. now we will be put the cost of the water when we have to return it

Seems like a nice pool. Assembly of the pool itself was easy. The pump and filter do not go together as pictured, but everything will be fine if you ignore the picture and make sure you connect a to a, b to b, etc. The hoses are just too stiff. My problem was that the manual does not explain all the parts, does not tell you you'll need to run to Ace to cobble together a hose connection for the outflow, and forgets to point out there is a power switch on the circulating pump. Everything will check out, and all the pre-use steps work fine, but it wont work in normal operation because they forgot to tell you to turn the circulating pump on.

This pool is a great deal and bigger than expected. I recommend to assemble the pump first to make sure there are missing parts. The pool set that I received was missing the complete port “A” components and 2 gaskets. Hopefully Bestway will send me the parts at no charge. Also setting up the pool is a two or three person job. However the pool is easy to put together in about 1 1/2-2 hours not counting the pump.

This pool was super easy to install and the supports feel strong and well made for an above ground pool. The pins that lock the brackets into place are much better than any other above ground pool I've used and they are all in one with the connector pieces. And they include a cover which is amazing and so helpful.

We just received this pool yesterday. my husband got a load of sand to help make it level. We had it up and filling withing an hour or so. This pool is a lot larger than I thought it would be, and we are so happy with the purchase. We use to have a 14x42 pool, and I can honestly say, the 18×48 is much better! Go buy this pool right now!

Purchased this pool, we just finished filling up the pool and the pump doesn't turn on and the hoses leak! I reached out to customer service and only option is to disassemble the pool and return items, which means wasting the water and the money it cost to fill up the pool.

I am torn between a three and a four star on this pool. The pool itself is good and the filter/pump works alright so far. I was sad to learn that after paying this amount for a pool that my older, cheaper pool came with a timer on the pump and this one does not. I have to turn it on and off or add timer to it.

We just set this pool up a couple of weeks ago. Fairly easy - but with two people took all afternoon including ground prep. We have not used the pool as it cooled off and storms came after set up. So far it has held up to the storms. The filter is not adequate. We called the customer support line to ensure we set it up correctly and their own support staff told us the filter was too small for the pool size. Working on replacing the filter so the grands can enjoy when it warms up.

Bought memorial weekend and after approximately 2 weeks straight rain we finally were able to set it up and fill it only to discover the pump doesn't work at all, wont even power on. Now it's not seeming to easy to file a claim with the manufacturer to attempt getting a replacement, so we have currently have a $400 swamp sitting on our lawn.
