Algae in the pool has to do with your chemicals. Not the filter just an fyi. The filter was fine although I think it's too high on the pool to get much out of the pool. However after 5 months of being set up, level. The hole where the filter enters the pool a huge line split in the liner it was at least one and a half feet away from that hole. So the liner was completely ruined. And nothing was tugging on the hole to cause the split it just randomly happened.

I just purchased this pool to upgrade from our 16x48 pool. Today, I received box 1 of 2. I will wait one more day to see if box 2 arrives. If it does not arrive by tomorrow, I will be getting my money back. I don't see how 2 boxes could not be delivered at the same time. When I saw it in store in one complete box. It's very frustrating.

Purchased this pool after paying a landscaping company to come in and level ground. Put the pool together, filled it up and within 1 week, 11 out of the 18 top rails are kinked and bending. It's only a matter of time before they snap completely and the pool collapses. Additionally, some of the legs are already bowing and bending. This pool frame is complete junk.

I purchased the pool in February and set everything up last week of May. I took us a few days to get everything level and full, the liner was noticeable thinner than the walls which is a concern for the future. The pump was finally hooked up but there is something wrong with the hosing that it's not able to pump water through. I contacted sams and all they offered was for me to break down and return the whole kit. This is upsetting after filling the pool for days to get almost 5,500 gallons of water, breaking down the pool to return a faulty filter is not an easy task.

Bad deal this time. The pump that came with pool is defective and feels super cheap. The pump ran about 5 minutes on filtration mode before stopping and making a humming / grinding noise. The water is clean so there is no obstruction in the pump, basket or hose. This was my initial startup as well. Customer service option is to return to store which is about a 100-mile round trip. Returning to store will waste at least 6000 gallons of water, chemicals and assembly/disassembly time. There is no way I can completely dry the pool and pack everything in the box. My only option is to buy a new pump locally to get things moving this weekend. Good Beautiful budget friendly pool. 1/2 the price of my other option. 18ft in diameter is a good starter size pool. Includes filter, filtration balls, pump, ladder, cleaning accessories. Packed well. Bad Faulty pump Frame feels lighter than other pools I have owned and seems to move around more. Manuals need improving. No skimmer which I did buy an optimal one. No pool replacements at this time in store.

After researching pools I didnt want to spend $1000..I bought this pool finally..It takes days to set this up because the ground has to be prepped..10hrs..It took 15min to unpack and 1 hr to set up..3 days to fill due to well water..It is such a joy..If it falls apart I feel for the price Im ok with it..Why spend more when you have so much to buy having a pool..Electric..chemicals..pool toys and decor..Hope this helps..enjoy

We bought this pool, and my wife laughed when she said 30 minute set up. We actually got it. Set up in 45 minutes. However, the instructions were terrible. The sand pump says you need to buy 9 kg of sand but they have these cotton balls that contradict the instructions and you don’t know whether to put in the cotton balls or the sand or both. Called the customer service center and in three days they haven’t called us back yet. The pump is a nice pump, but you will empty your pool if you try to empty the skimmer because there’s no valve to shut off the water from the pool to the skimmer. The instructions are extremely poorly written If you have a hydrology and mechanical engineering degree - buy the pool. Oh yes, you can use the puff balls and no sand. If your ground is not perfectly level ALL the way AROUND, expect trouble.
