Absolute rip off with criminal customer service. I would strongly advise against buying this product. There were missing parts that rendered the pool useless and Bestway refused to ship the missing parts because thirty days had lapsed since we bought. We purchased this product in March as an Easter gift for our children to use in the summer. The boxes were delivered through Sam’s and arrived intact. However, when we opened the boxes to erect the pool, serious issues very quickly made themselves evident. The first box we pulled out of the larger boxes was sealed and when we opened it, it was completely empty. We chalked this up to being some sort of packing support. The instructions are essentially unusable so you will have to consult a Youtube video to have any hope of setting it up correctly. The provided booklet is so bad (essentially just a list of parts, a picture of the pool set up with warnings about it being level, and that’s about it) that it actually makes me think a primary instruction booklet was forgotten. Regardless, this can easily be overcome with DIY Youtube channels (I used one called the practical mechanic). One of the final steps of the assembly involved placing a filter pump jet assembly through a large hole (hole “A”) in the side of the pool. You guessed it … the a filter pump jet assembly was not in the box (maybe it was what was supposed to in the sealed empty box?). There is a picture of this assembly in the list of parts that are to be included in the box in the “instructions,” but it was nowhere to be found. In the instructions this part is the only one that does not include a part number, but I went online and sifted through the Bestway website to find one that most closely visually approximated the part and it is “out of stock.” If you ask me, it is very suspicious that the part they didn’t include is the part they also don’t have in stock. We called Bestway and they said since it had been 30 days since we bought the pool they were under no obligation to send us the part and would not help us. This part doesn’t seem to exist online anywhere else, so we are out of luck and stuck with a pool with a permanent large hole in the side and no way to hook the pump return to the pool. Basically, the pool is trash out of the box. When pressed about their quality control they simply replied that they don’t really know what is in the box when it leaves China and they just weigh it to try to determine if all the parts are in there. Having been through all of this and now knowing all this, there is NO WAY I would buy another Bestway ANYTHING. We just lit $400 on fire doing business with them. And all over some part that probably costs them a dollar to manufacture but which they refuse to ship us because it had been more than 30 days since we bought it and which we cannot otherwise get.

After having the pool sit in a box for two weeks I was so excited to get it put up and use it. After a week I noticed I was losing water at a great rate, upon further investigating I realized the pump was leaking . I called for the installer to look at it and was informed they never put the pump together, it came that way. The cause is most likely a seal it broken on it. I have been trying to call Bestway customer service and they are never open, even though the message says to call at a certain time. I am not happy with my purchase or the lack of customer service.

We just got our pool set up, and it seems to be a nice pool. The problem is that the instructions were awful, not clear at all. Many important details were not even mentioned, and almost everything is just diagrams without words or indications of what parts are being used. Just really bad instructions. Also, the pool comes with a vacuum, but there are NO instructions for how to use it and NO hose to hook it up anywhere. So I have no idea how to even use it, which pretty much makes it useless. The pool ladder is also not very sturdy at all.

These pools are trash. On my third one, previous ones I assumed was user error that it leaked, or that the sand pump included doesn't actually filter. But did everything right, spent a bunch of money on soft sand, tarps, etc. And leaking right away, not even done filling it. So now have hiked up my water bill for nothing. Would recommend a different brand. I had a blue one (not bestway but the other leading above ground pool brand) that a literal tree fell into and was still fine.

Very big. Needs lots of water. This past rainstorm finished filling it up for us.

The pool cover is too small and as the pool got half way full 3 of the poles are already bending.

honestly dont know, because they sent me box 2 of 2 and box 2 of 2. hmmm. where is box 1 of 2????
