We got this pool on sale for $399 and was really excited that it came with everything needed for the pool and maintenance, of course with the exception of the chemicals. Set up was really easy and fast once we had the ground properly prepped and level. Great size pool for our kids, ages 5 to 12. Plenty of room for them all to be in there having fun. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Filter Pump setup was also pretty easy. Was a little confused by the polysphere balls, but a quick visit to the website shows to put both included bags into the filter. We also got an Intex over the door edge skimmer which works great for this pool size. Our kids along with the neighbor kids play pretty rough in the pool and it's doing fine handling them. We don't allow sitting or standing on the top-rail, which it says in the instructions. So far so good on keeping it clear. We follow all the chemical instructions after testing the water and it's working. For those people giving 1 star for their dirty water, it's your water, not the pool. I can see us having this pool for a few years at least, so it's well worth the money. Our family and neighbors are very happy with this pool.

Great value
I have finished setting up the pool but it has not been used - if I feel like I need to update this review after more time, I absolutely will! In comparison to similar pools I have purchased in the past, this one's steel is much thinner than others. The connector pieces are not steel, they are plastic, which is also different than my previous experiences. However, this is the largest of these pools that I have purchased AND the cheapest, so I am not offended by these differences! You get what you pay for! The instructions do not contain words, only pictures. That is a challenge, even for me, someone who has done this multiple times! Even the instruction video is without words. Super weird. BUT, I did get it done....it was just harder than it had to be, especially for the filter system - that was DIFFICULT to figure out! Assembly can be completed as one person - I was able to get it all done by myself. The box that I was sent was missing some of the parts needed to assemble the ladder. That was a major bummer and Sam's was unable to provide JUST the missing parts. Because the pool and filter had already been assembled and filled, making it very hard to navigate a complete replacement, Sam's was able to find an alternate solution to make up for the missing ladder parts. I am satisfied with the solution that has been provided and don't blame Sam's for the circumstances.

Pool lacking in many areas.
The pools instructions are lacking, for lack of a better word. The cover is NOT even the correct size for the pool that it came with. We are in the process of setting it up and the pump needs to be a higher powered pump to do the job. Plus the poles would not stay secured while the pool was filling up. Just lacking all the way around.

Frame rusted in one year.
We purchased our pool less than a year ago. And several of the supports and cross bars are rusted out. We will not be able to use this pool again this year. Now when it was up and working it was fine, but I think we should have gotten more than one year before it was this rusted out.

Liner tore after 5 months
We really enjoyed the pool the short time it lasted. The liner tore near where the return jet is attached. It split on both sides about 10 inches. It's not repairable. I was so dissapointed. The pool is level. No reason for it, other than a faulty liner.

OK for a summer or 2
Over the years we have had several similar type pools from another manufacturer. We purchased this pool and have gotten 2 summers out of it. It has been set up and winterized per manufacturer instructions. After 2 summers, a few of the poles are rusted out at the bottom and is no longer usable. If you are looking at a pool for 1-2 summers, it's fine but nothing beyond that. Also, we did have to upgrade the pump as the included pump was not strong enough.

Not bad for the Money. You get what you pay for.
The Pool itself is not bad. The Instructions, on the other hand, are HORRENDOUS!!!!!!! I bought this in Sam's Club, and the instructions in the box were for a European model, according to the Customer service person I talked to. The description states a 1500 gal Sand filter but wait, they supply these Polysphere balls in 2 bags, and you don't know how much to add since there is no size on the bag, and the instructions state to use 0.06 lbs of Polysphere balls. Customer service was not sure either, but they just said to put in as much to the line. The videos for the Flowmaster filter show parts that are NOT for the USA version. The Vaccum does not come with a connection tube or attachment to the filter, and there are no instructions for using it. The Vaccum has a quick connect fitting, the USA version does not use this feature. I upgraded the ladder to a more stable one. I would have given this a higher rating, but the instruction were THAT bad.

Good value
Nice pool for the price. It is a cheap filter with cheap hoses and connectors, but that should be expected with the price. It DOES require tools, paver stones, and more than 30 minutes to get up and going. About 30 minutes to stand the pool another hour to get it all set and filter hooked up. The instructions are complete crap... All in all, good pool for the money, just plan a full day and be patient. Cold beer helps... Just sayin'
