Literally had the neighborhood kids help us put this up. The instructions are questionable, but a lot of the things are rather obvious. Like putting a kids' playhouse together. This has really worked out great! The pump works really well & as long as you put in some algeacide after heavy rains, the water stays very clear & clean. The vacuum it came with is laughable, but as long as you're cleaning it out regularly, it's whatever. I would absolutely recommend this if you have kids. It's really only about 3.5ft deep. Make sure you really, really flatten the land & get ALL roots & debris removed. Make a nice sand bed underneath it. The weight from the water will eventually find any missed roots & you'll feel them through the liner.

This pool is great, particularly with a few necessary upgrades, such as a surface skimmer and some way to vacuum the bottom. That said, you will be SHOCKED at how fast the frame on this thing will rust through. Ours literally lasted one year. Not sure it's worth it if you have to buy a new one every year... The photo shows the rust after one year, but within a month of that photo, the compromised rail has rusted completely through and had to be removed. There are at least two more also rusted through. Now held together with a rachet strap because Bestway wants $50 for a single rail!! Ridiculous!

We purchased our pool less than a year ago. And several of the supports and cross bars are rusted out. We will not be able to use this pool again this year. Now when it was up and working it was fine, but I think we should have gotten more than one year before it was this rusted out.

Pool does not have a filter/skimmer basket so it has to be cleaned constantly. The pump doesn't have sufficient amperage to keep water moving so dirt/algae are an issue. We upgraded to a larger pump and still did not have success keeping it clean (yes, we treated it chemically and they're aren't any trees near the pool that would cause excess pollen). Very disappointing as the size of the pool is great for swimming.

Over the years we have had several similar type pools from another manufacturer. We purchased this pool and have gotten 2 summers out of it. It has been set up and winterized per manufacturer instructions. After 2 summers, a few of the poles are rusted out at the bottom and is no longer usable. If you are looking at a pool for 1-2 summers, it's fine but nothing beyond that. Also, we did have to upgrade the pump as the included pump was not strong enough.

Our 20' x 48" pool was delivered April 24, 2022. The posts and rails are so rusted they are about to collapse after only 2 years. We always have this problem with above-ground pools. I don't understand why they don't use some type of strong pvc instead of quickly corroding metal.

We were so excited about this pool. We prepped the ground made it level and everything. We set the pool up yesterday and it was pretty easy. The instructions could be better but overall not terrible. However after we had about a foot of water in the pool we noticed water coming from underneath. We can’t seem to locate where a hole or tear is but there’s clearly a leak in a brand new out of box pool. I tried calling Bestway customer service this morning and no answer for almost 30 min. Not sure what to do at this point but extremely frustrated

First of all, yes it could be better. Almost anything could be better especially when it comes with a cheaper pricetag than all of the competition. That being said, I am very happy with this pool. We bought it last summer and set it up in a couple hours after I spent two days levelling a good spot for it. Levelling the ground is 100% the most important step to setting up the pool. There are cheap ways to do it if you're handy and can watch a few YouTube videos. That's what I did. Cost me $20 in tools and sand. This pool is awesome. I haven't had any issues at all so far and this is the second season we've had it for. I did not put it away for the winter. Instead, I bought a better cover for it and winterized it. Then in the early summer I drained, cleaned, and refilled it. Yes, the cover it comes with is trash. Don't even bother using it. Just expect to pony up the $90 to buy a heavy duty one. The pump and filter are good enough for the size of this pool. We live in an area with a LOT of bugs and it keeps the pool clean as long as we skim it with a net once a day. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this pool again.

I've had this pool about two weeks now. Kids love it. Went up in about 2 hours on my own. My teenage daughter had to give me a hand holding part of it up while I built it. Took about 1.5 days to fill. At first it looked like it was getting green, but left the filter running with a quick "shock" and it's been good ever since. I'm about 2" out of level over 18', it does move a lot when the kids play around, so I constantly have to tell them to calm down. I placed foam board underneath to be easier on the feet and to prevent any tears. I'll take it down over the winter and work on leveling it even more.

Unfortunately, my experience with this pool has been very disappointing. My main concern is with the tubes where the ladders are set up in the pool: two of them bent after only a relatively short period of use. This issue is even more frustrating because there is no weight limit specified on any of the ladders, which is crucial to avoid such problems. and i dont think the weight was a lot for happen this. My children and their friends, all aged between 4 and 13 years old with the heaviest being 140 pounds, are the only ones using the pool. Despite this, we've already encountered issues with the tubes. This type of failure indicates a lack of sturdiness and durability in the product. I am deeply disappointed with this purchase, as we expected much more in terms of quality and safety. I would not recommend this pool to other buyers.
